I really enjoyed hand buff paladin, and so when it rotated I started trying to come up with a replacement deck. Silver Sword and its interaction with Ebon Dragonsmith is what got me started thinking about this deck.
Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of free time to test this deck, but the games I have played have gone fairly well. I am not saying that this deck could be the new meta or anything, but I think it is fun deck, and I would like some help refining it to make it better. Any suggestions or comments are welcome!
I was just seeing your deck and I was wondering why you use 2x Divine Favor. There are a lot of aggro decks on the ladder and I think Divine Favor is not gonna be useful in your deck. Maybe I'm wrong, but it is just my opinion.
Honestly, I put those in as a draw option. Several times I found myself needing more cards, and I feel like Lay on Hands would be too slow. If you think a different draw engine would be better, I would be willing to try it, because you are right. Divine Favor is dead against aggro decks.
I feel like Onyxia is better suited with its synergy with Silver Sword. I can give it a try and see if putting people at 15 health helps, but since this isnt really a combo or an OTK deck, I am not sure how viable it would be.
I made a few quick changes to this deck. I felt like I wasn't seeing Silver Sword often enough, so I bumped it back to 2. I replaced the Marsh Drake and the Divine Favor with Stonehill Defender and Acolyte of Pain to try and see if it is a better drawn engine for the deck.
I like the deck! My very first arena run in Witchwood, I broke my all-time record (10-2) with a pally deck, and Silver Sword was the crutch. It looks so slow on paper, but being able to drop, attack, buff a board, and do the same thing again and again and again...
Anyway, I also workshopped a few ideas incorporating it with Ebon Dragonsmith, trying it out in an even build. You lose some important cards, but not that many (Righteous Protector, Scalebane, Paragon, and your value 3-drops.) I think I'll try pushing this deck up the ladder for the new season :)

Thanks! I toyed with the idea of running an even version of the deck, but decided against it cause I didn't want to lose Cobalt Scalebane, Onyxia, and Paragon of Light. Good luck with the ladder and let me know how it works out for you!

Hi everyone,

Thanks in advance!

Keep it up man :)
I'd remove onyxia for Alexstraza. Cost one more mana.
