The Race will begin again when the first real Season starts! :D
Looking forward to!
Me too. Mosatly playing Arena to foil up the collection.
Although from time to time I'm running the deck and it's still amazing fun in the current meta. Especially the Warlock zoo deck can easily be defeated.
Still loving this deck. I got the hunter dominance quest yesterday and quickly won 5 games in a row to move from rank 15 to rank 11. I too am awaiting the final release but still enjoying playing ranked for the challenge. Golden Rexxar is gonna look awesome!
I think this deck will doing very well with the recent patch. As we run neither Nat Pagle nor Tinkmaster Overspark, it got an indirect buff (even though those two cards weren't problematic for us). I'm really looking forward to the possible rising of big minions (due to the Tinkmaster Overspark nerf): I'd really love to kill those enemies before turn 8/9 or just Hunter's Mark their Fatties away.
One little thing to watch out though: as secrets will not be triggered in your turn anymore, one has to careful in mirror matchs. A misdirected (Misdirection) minion in your face will probably not remisdirected again. Has anyone testet this yet?
It will give you some wins but with negative ratios. You can't face any control deck with it and any aggro deck. Too bad, they are both most played deck types right now.
I disagree too, as stated above. Actually I find control way easier than aggro. Hunter's Mark with just *anything* is an amzing hard removal. Especially with Unleash the Hounds and Starving Buzzard you compensate the two for one.
Hogger is a god awful card. There was a point where he was used a lot and people didn't know how to counter him... but as he stands, he's probably the worst legendary in the game ... gladiators longbow is AMAZING, especially if you can Captain Greenskin it... it's basically like a gorehowl on crack.
As far as being stuck, I think the beginning of the season is when you find most of the better players ranking up together, so it will continue to be relatively tough for some time.
Assasians blade + 2 Deadly Poisons = 7/4 weapon, also hogger isnt terrible if you have board control and a taunt allready out it just makes it that much harder to punch a hole in thier defense, or drop defender of argus on 2 minions and hogger and youve got taunts coming out ur @$$, plus hogger is 4/4 so priests can't SW it, yea it can be silenced but wat card cant lol
Hogger is too easy to remove. Lightning Bolt, Eviscerate, Swipe or just run a 4 damage minion into him ([deck]chillwind yeti[/deck] survives the exchange), not to mention Equality + whatever... etc. etc. As for Priests, Cabal Shadow Priest
I don't understand your comment about Assassin's Blade + 2x Deadly Poison . . . A buffed weapon has more damage output than a non-buffed weapon? I would take 7 mana for 5 damage + immunity over 7 mana for the potential to do 28 damage any day, but that's just me.

Forget this deck atm.
are u sure you mean this deck? ;)
Yesterday i went from 16 - 11 with a winning streak. Currently at Rank 10.
I did only encountered a druid once oO What happened? ^^''
Druids took a hit from the nerf-hammer. Tinkmaster Overspark was their only Polymorph-style removal, with the only other option being Naturalize, which still triggers Deathrattle effects and fuels the opponents hand. With Nat Pagle being slowed down a bit and their only other source of cards being an Ancient of Lore, they are hopefully brought back in line with other decks.
On a sidenote: Gosh I hate people that play decks that look like they've thrown 10 legendarys in, filled up with class specific cards and call it R1druidqtlol.deck... But thats just me.
So Tobi, any other fine-tunings for the current metagame?
So Tobi, any other fine-tunings for the current metagame?
hmm i guess there is no fine-tuning needed right now. I'm still very satisfied with it....but i'm only rank 10 yet.
i also have no clue which card to replace. Now with the "secret nerf" for Palas Flare could maybe be a card to look at. In this season i didnt have any game where this card has proven to be usefull....but for now....lets wait :)
There are still a lot of variables here - what class are you playing, what you suspect the opponent will do next, is tempo more important, what else you have in your hand, what you just drew, etc. etc.
As a general rule of thumb, ideally you want to do the same amount of damage to the opponent as mana crystals you have this turn (so turn 1, 1 damage, turn 2, 2 damage, turn 3, 3 damage so on and so forth).
This deck got me to rank 16 before I had to switch up. Ironically, the above post states Handlock to be an easy matchup for this deck, but I lost to every one I played, then, since finishing and swapping to Handlock myself, I've overwhelmingly beaten 6 variants of this deck en route to hitting 10 today.
Definitely not a knock on the deck, though; this deck seriously rocks, and is probably the most fun deck I've played in HS. I think my personal experience represents more of a playstyle matchup than anything else(I traditionally have gravitated towards control in ccg's, and midrange isn't usually my flavor).
Hey, Tobi, pretty sure we just played on NA server. I was playing Handlock, and (if it was you), you were playing this deck. I Hellfired to force the draw. If that was actually you, that game was AWESOME! If not, well, it was still awesome.

Nope, this deck is bad now with the current meta.
