So, I have just started a weekly simulated forge deck. This week I constructed a Hunter deck from random picks, for an article posted over at Hearthstone Players. Here is the deck that I ended up with, looking forward to your feedback:
The guiding philosophy with this forge simulation, was to try and ensure I stacked plenty of beasts to exploit the synergy with Hunter abilities. Overall, I definitely see that it is more minion heavy than anything. Also, as I noted when writing my article, the deck is very limited in terms of Control, relying on brute power of minions+buffs to try and overwhelm the opponent.
Pretty decent Hunter deck for Forge. Which simulator did you use?
I used the one over at DeckSpot. I don't think it is very accurate and not the most user friendly, but the only option at the moment. Hopefully hearthpwn get their forge sim up and running soon, will make saving my simulated decks here much easier :D

I sent Molster a PM, I do a bit of programming and can probably make a pretty decent Forge Simulator with the database here.

I am a programmer also, mainly web development with PHP. That being said, as far as I am aware, hearthpwn have a solid development team that should be rolling this feature out real soon. :D

Yeah we are 100% adding loads more (we have some great stuff planned)
In fact one of our awesome devs is already messing with some forge stuff on his own free time. [We are all massively excited about everything we can do for the hearthstone community!]

Yeah it's actually awful accuracy-wise. It presents all the cards in order of rarity, and it gives you Epics and Legendaries in every deck +_+... really annoying.
Misdirection is not good enough to justify an Ancient Watcher IMHO. Even in the best conditions you only have a 50% chance to hit Ancient Watcher, and usually will be even lower, around 25% with just a couple minions in the battlefield.
This was a forge mode deck remember. The other options were equally bad, at least the watcher gave me a good situational defender. ;)
Hmm, and how do you defend with an Ancient Watcher? You do some jedi tricks so your opponent attacks him with their minions?
On a second tought, maybe you don't know you can't block in this game.
If you have Ironbeak Owl or other cards that can silence(Shaman's Earth Shock for example) Ancient Watcher, then he'd be worth it. But if you don't have these already, then taking him is not wise in Forge.

It's quite simple. You don't play it unless you have Misdirection in play, hence why I said it is situational. Your opponent has two options: (a) Not damage your Hero at all, thus not triggering the trap... in the process keeping your Hero safe (b) Damage your Hero, thus redirecting damage to the Ancient Watcher
It doesn't hurt to have two cards in a forge deck, that can provide a situational advantage.
ps: One thing I did overlook, is that the Misdirection randomly redirects damage. But as long as Ancient watcher is the only minion in play it means 100%, or if there are two minions is 50%. It's not a core strategy in the deck though.
Well, I'm not going to argue that Ancient Watcher was an amazing pick. It was 1 pick, out of 3 garbage options (this can and will happen in forge). ...Obviously, I would never put this card in to a thought out constructed deck.

I took a chance, and luckily got Misdirection in the following pick.
