I've seen a hundred decks like this get Legend late in the season. You can't redo it vs. a strong, aggressive and settled meta early in a season without running hot. I don't mean this as a diminishing of your accomplishment, it's just a very different context you're playing in.

The creator of the deck reached Legend in the last few days of the season; don't pick a deck that did that and jam it at the beginning or in the middle, you'll just get your ass handed to you.

Doppelgangster triggers this three times.

Since a lot of decks actually drop BGH as a body vs. hyper aggressive decks, I think this could fit.

Hypothetically...

• ...if there was some large e-sports event in your region
• ...and that e-sports event hosted a Hearthstone tournament
• ...and some of the best Hearthstone players were invited
• ...and there was a massive Fireside Gathering the day before
• ...and you could qualify for the larger tournament during that day, no fees attached 
• ...and there was a substantial prize pool for the grand winner

All of this being hypothetical, of course...

There was another event that finished today and the finals had Kolento vs. Firebat and Kolento played the Undertaker and showed +1/+1 pre-nerf.

There is also Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the YELLING LEGION! But yes, the theme you're speaking of is, funny enough, the theme we are tackling for the next episode =D

I hope you'll enjoy it; it'll be a roster of Neutral Hero Power-related cards! Not class-specific like Velen or JARAXXUS, but awesome nonetheless!

Thoughtsteal isn't overpowered, it's just crap design. Like Animal Companion, Mad Scientist and Ragnaros, for instance. But it's not overpowered.

What do you think about weapons for casters? from something like a mage blade that could give spellpower to iconic ones like Benediction/Anathema for priest. Or just armor spells/buffsfrom wow turned into a "weapon".

This is one of the ideas I am thinking of tackling in the future, but I haven't solidified any of the concepts yet; there are about 30 ways you can approach the idea of "caster weapons", and it's one of the most potentially flavorful pieces of card design. I like to tackle card ideas one at a time, but I'm always worried when I start designing things like caster weapons since I feel as though if a Mage has access to one, then I also need to design a plethora of Priest/Warlock ones as a result!

But yes, it's definitely an interesting topic; I love designing cards, it's just an amazing brain twister.

As for Maiev not being too fitting for the card that was designed, I can see that; there were a lot of choices for the card itself, but I felt like Maiev's threatening nature was still somewhat well-represented by the fact that you simply could not ignore her. I can see how other characters might've been more fitting, though :D She's a bit more vindictive than passive.
