I want to pick up hunter and I have a little dust to play with. I wanted to craft a deck but l dont know if I should craft spell hunter or Kathrena hunter! Which one is more fun?
I think they are pretty even in power level and Kathrena hunter is more fun to me. Those turns where you drop and ooze then play dead twice and suddenly 15 face damage and a board of fatties from an empty board.
But... Katherena is a seriously gold plated deck. Multiple epics and legends that will not see play in any other deck.
So I would recommend spell hunter also unless you have a lot of dust to spend.
Kathrena Hunter reminds me a lot of Cubelock. You survive the game early on, then cheat out big minions that either form a taunt wall or attack face.
Spell Hunter is a personal preference, though. Fun to play and potentially annoying for opponents. It's a bit expensive though as it needs a lot of epics (To My Side, some secrets) to be competitive, and it's pointless without Rhok'delar of course. You can run it without DK Rexxar, though it'd be significantly weaker.
Spell hunter is hyped but in reality it seems to loose to most meme decks that you see on ladder right now. Hunter mirror is only matchup that is even for me, rest are all negative win rate in stats.

Kathrena Hunter: requires a shit-ton of legendaries plus some epics
To me that sounds like an easy choice, also Spell Hunter isn't as draw-dependant and has less bad matchups (Kathrena is more fun though and capable of extreme swing turns).
Well both are solid decks, Spell Hunter is like High tier 2/Low tier 1 and Kathrena is like Mid-Low tier 2 so yo definitely can reach legend with both without too much trouble but as stated above spell hunter is more solid/better but the big beasts are waaaaay more fun but also more expensive. A good start is just to get Rexxar DK as it's needed and staple on every hunter that's not hyper aggro and then just decide, you want a more solid deck to climb or you want to have fun and also you have a lot of dust lying around. Finally also keep in mind that for the Kathrena hunter you need other stuff like Cube and Devilsaur which are pretty solid cards and can allow you to play some other decks as well.
I recommend spellhunter, takes less dust and will ALWAYS be at least playable, will also probably be good in wild one day too as more spells come out. At that point, getting wild hunter spells your missing for hunter will be cheap.
Not as fun as Kathreena which I only play because I luckily opened her recently.

I found Katrina to be more fun. Game to game Spellhunter feels very similar. Spell is more powerful probably though.

Spell Hunter is actually pretty good right now, I have multiple friends who took it to legend. (Not me tho lol)

Kathrena hunter is unrefined, and the meta is unstable. She could end up being a poor use of dust.
Before you spend your last dust, I'd craft DK Rexxar and play around a bit with lower dust options while waiting to see what happens.
I'm personally playing Devilsaur Eggs and Terrorscale Stalkers and having a blast (and winning lots of games).

Spell Hunter: requires Deathstalker Rexxar and Rhok'delar (DK being priority target) plus two copies of To My Side!. Rat Trap or Crushing Walls are optional.

I love Rexxar DK, he will get better in wild too.
