Toad is best, but I agree with Kris... Flame jugglers instead of bomber (which can wipe your own board)... but you really want a beast there, for that possible round 4 houndmaster which is often a gamewinning move.
Inexpensive hunter deck requiring no legendaries, no epics, and no adventures, complete with strategy advice, card choice explanations, and "upgrades" you can make if you have the cards. Hope it helps. Good luck!

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
It could just be that you suck. Dont worry man, I love this game but have come to accept that I'm just an absolute rubbish player - regardless of what deck I use.
This morning has been fun, I'm currently 1 - 16 so I decided to stop before I smash my head against the wall
Anyway, sorry man. I'm sure you don't suck... Midrange hunter is a strong deck so you should do well with it
it just that i never seem to get firebat or kings elekk at my start hand, meaning all my starting minions will be 3 or more mana, it causes me to lose start always.
zoo will always destroy me because they just keep spamming 1 cost minions.
druid has taunts.
warrior has frothing berserker to destroy me, and shit ton armor.
shaman has tunnel trogg on first turn, automatic concede for me.
Mage has spells.
other hunters goes to face all the time
i seem to win quite well against paladins and rogues for some reason.

Zoo is quite strong against midrange hunter. Force him to do the trades, but remove the biggest threats like Knife Juggler and Darkshire Councilman as soon as you can.
Druid: Taunts are annoying, but you have the tools to deal with them.
Warrior: Control warriors are weak against midrange hunters. Try to learn what's in their deck so you know what to expect. Don't overextend too much. Example: You have 3 minions on turn 4, the warrior has none and plays no more minions. It's your turn 5 now: Don't play any additional minions -> Chances are he played nothing because he intends to Brawl his next turn.
Shaman: If you concede after a shaman plays a basic opening the problem is not your deck but your attitude. I will even go as far as saying it's cowardly. How do you expect to gain more skill if you refuse to gain experience by just giving up? Gaining skill takes time and thus experience, friend. Recognize that the trend with youths these days that they 'want everything and right now damnit' is pure poison.
Mage: You also have spells. If he has to use a Fireball on your Huge Toad you are in a great position.
In general: (Re)Learn when to trade and when to go face, when not to overextend, have more patience, and dare to fail repeatedly.
Dude, know the feeling. I'm getting smashed by shamans, destroyed by Druids, pounded by Paladins, massacred by mages, pulverized by priests and walked over by warriors. I'm not fairing much better against rouges, hunters or warlocks either...
I personally run Defender of Argus in my Hunter deck instead of Houndmaster, just in case all I have on the board or in hand are non-beast minions. Plus he gives you two taunts instead of just one.
Also keep in mind that it's still early in the season, so people are still ranking up from where their last season rank placed them. Of course it's going to be rougher if you're playing against someone who was rank 3 just 3 days ago. And stop auto-conceding; I've had many games start off poorly and seem doomed, only to turn around because of how strong hunter mid-game is. You'll never learn and improve if you keep quitting.

If you're just going to auto concede, why bother playing at all? Losing is a part of the game, and if you can't do that gracefully and learn from your mistakes, you'll never be any good at Hearthstone or really anything you try to do in life.
"You'd need 2 cards to deal with C'Thun seeing he usually clears your side of the board when summoned."
Deadly Shot is terrible against zoo, shaman or paladin, though. It's also terrible if your opponent has something else on the board alongside C'Thun, and you are left with a newly empty board. That said, if your midrange Hunter hasn't made a kill by turn 9, it becomes significantly more difficult to do so (unless you're running N'Zoth in your deck, which I do not).
Literally just now I wanted to make a similar crying thread :D. I'm not a bad player myself ( rank 2-3 max, never a legend though) and now im stuck at rank 20-18 this season for like first 40 games. Just can't win against anything. And what's worse - there's nothing wrong with any of my decks because I lose to people playing with exactly the same decks... No clue what's wrong. People trash me with basic cards or exotic shit sometimes...

Just one of those days I guess.

i just cant get past rank 18, its really getting frustrating.
the last game was against mage with mirror image on first turn, auto concede again.
these taunts really gets in my nerves, such annoying things they are.
cant find any fun in losing either, there should be some rewards for just playing games instead winning them.

I agree that Flame Juggler is superior to Mad Bomber. I'd also consider Hunter's Mark instead of one Deadly Shot in case you do need to target a particular minion. Explosive Shot will give you much needed AoE against zoo and other aggro decks.
Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
You're playing it wrong. Even decks with basic cards can go as far as rank 15 at least.

the last month i played only face hunter, cause i wanted unlock golden hunter, i was about to reach rank 15 but only ONCE.
well atleast i got my golden hunter.
i dont really like to play face hunter anyway, its very boring deck and luck based in the end.
i really dont know what i m doing wrong for not being able to reach rank above 15, perhaps it is cause i always try play atleast 1 minion per turn?
anyway i have used this deck for past 2 days now
http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/579772-free-to-play-legend-less-then-30-days
is there any weak things in it? should i reach legend easily with that? well i hope so
*Priest continuously resurrecting minions*
Paladin : "By the holy f***"
well my luck didnt turn any better, i faced shaman who played 2 totem golems in row and then flamewreathed shitface.
like how i m suppose to counter that?
