Considering that hunter has good minion synergy and strong openers ( Alleycat or maybe Dire Mole into Crackling Razormaw ), why not keep your usual Midrange Hunter shenanigans? 

So (with a little luck) you can play your normal SmOrc-Simulator, with the option to Hemet, Jungle Hunter away your deck and replace it with a slower DK-Hunter If you run out of steam.
You can't Hemet away Savanna Highmane or Houndmaster sadly. You also loose your removal options when pulling the Hemet-Trigger. Turns out putting some lead into your deck leaves you with little cards.
