Hi, i play hearthstone since beta and played a lot, want to share this wild deck i made these days for break the monotony of the meta with something innovative (or close to) and competitive.
Try to stabilize early with lighting bolt doomsayer jade claws and maelstorm portal. defend your board with the many taunts you have and quality minons, then the win condition is ofc n'zoth or the super strong combo Kel' Thuzad + Ancestral Spirit+ Reincarnate. You can also do just kel+ reincarnate, but not for kel+ancestral, for that you have to be sure that oppenent doesn't have a hard removal or you a fucked up. Thauri can help this fancy combo and allow to do it in 1 turn ofc.
I'm trying the deck and i'm actually change it a lot,if you have any suggestion would be appreciated :)
Can I sub White Eyes for something? Maybe Aya Blackpaw?
And what do you go for with Sir Finley Mrrgglton?
Hi :)
Your deck looks really cool! Sadly I don't have most of the wild cards, but since I play a bit of control shaman in standard, I do actually have some suggestions/questions
Have you tried Spirit Claws instead of Jade Claws?
Did you try double lighting storm?
Hey, Thanks !
Jade vs Claws is a nice question,i'll try to answer as better as i can.
Spirit claws can eventually (i hate totem rolls) provide high damage for cheap mana, and can potentially kill a bigger health minion, but the main uses for the early tools is not for bigger minions, but aggro ones with 2 hp generally, and if you plan to control the early board with spirit can be dangerous because you have to reiceve 3 times face dmg instead of 2 (weapon durability). Jade claws so is ofc a more consistent card, while giving you what you need (killing early aggro minion) and also giving you something on the board which is really important, plus we don't needto play a strong 3 cost minion (we dont have 3 cost minion expect wolfs that are not really a 3 drop)
Storm.as i said i hate rolls.and rolls hate me.
ahahah no joking apart lighting storm can be a really cluncky card in general, especially in a shaman deck that as no "overload removal"(eternal sentinel) and a lot of big minion, so i changed it and tried patchwerk's bro (abomination) still evalutating which one is better.
seems that you know what you're doing ;).
so my follow up question: since jade claws and n'zoth both synergise very well with aya, did you try including the jade package. I don't know wheteher it's possible to fit it in the deck without changing the character of it too much, but in theory it should be really good, right?
In wild I didn't feel the need of adding the jade package because the deck structure would change itself.
I mean, jade mechanic is adifferent arechetype of deck, which can be great too, but in my opinion it would fit better the standard meta.
Adding the jade cards can cost you loosing a couple of taunts that can really save your life against aggro too,
in conclusion you can experiment a bit around those playstyles and see which one fits you better in this meta.
I've been running Aya in my reincarnate deck with nothing but Jade Claws and Jade Lightnings and it's actually been working out pretty well. Both those cards feel really good even without the Jade synergy, so it felt like a small price to pay to include Aya. She's got the N'zoth synergy and she's a decent Ancestral target. You don't end up with the massive 10/10+ golems you get with proper Jade decks, but I find myself consistently dropping the 6's and 7's in control matchups.
I agree that I definitely wouldn't run the full package though. There are too many good deathrattles in wild to be worrying about Jade Spirits and Chieftains.
