About me and my decks
First of all - thank you all for having patience. It's not always the case that a deck gets upvotes so high that fast, but there is some special love about the rogue class in the community. The last deck that had so much success was the Phantomas rogue, although Frostrage rogue was good on paper but could not compete enough with the fast aggro decks played at that time.
With "One Night in Karazhan" Blizzard pushed the rogue more in the midrange / minion oriented way and in addition to this RNG plays a huge factor in the class right now. Rogues still need a good single-card-AOE, maybe we will see it in a future card set release set.
There are 7 blockbuster RNG cards in this deck (2x Swashburglar, 2x Undercity Huckster, 2x Burgle and Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and each of this cards can decide the game for you. The discussion if this is good for Hearthstone is hot on reddit, so if you want to join it feel free to do so, but please keep comments on this page focussed on the deck itself. Thanks!
Depending on your opponents class you mulligan for a curve (meaning 1-2-3-drop with Swashburglar, Undercity Huckster and Burgle when you have a Preparation or SI:7 Agent when you have The Coin. There are still some all in plays possible if you get The Coin, Preparation, Backstab and Edwin VanCleef on turn 2 if your opponent played a minion for the Backstab, but that's a rare situation - nevertheless still a possible one.
The whole rogue package is included in this deck, you have 2x Fan of Knives which you want to empower with your spell damage cards like Bloodmage Thalnos and Azure Drake and you got your obvious Eviscerate and a Shadow Strike. This is what you see when you check out the decklist and you might have noticed the double Arcane Giant which come along withYogg-Saron, Hope's End in a lot of other spell heavy decks (like Druid, Mage, even Warrior have some lists floating around there). More on that later.
There are also some nice combos, for example with Brann Bronzebeard and Shadowcaster beeing the strongest combo in this deck. This play will give you 2x Brann Bronzebeard for 1 mana each and the potentital plays that are possible are insane and this is the point when you look at this deck and don't see what it's true power is: In this case it's the cards that are generated by your RNG blockbusters.
The other cards that synergize with Brann Bronzebeard are only Ethereal Peddler, Azure Drake and Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. While you can go for an insane RNG rollercoaster with a 1-mana cost Brann Bronzebeard + The Coin from Tomb Pillager + Yogg-Saron, Hopes End you most likely want to get value out of your other generated cards.
This is were the power and the fun in this deck is, and most competitive players would call it inconsistency with so much RNG in one deck but as said above, this is a problem of the game in his current state itself and not of the deck. But we are here and we have this deck and you and your opponent will not know what cards you get and how strong they will be in each specific situation. Most of the competitive players hate when they play against unpredicable decks and there is a sweet flavor in knowing this while playing the deck (and it feels better to play than Resurrect Priest which also has this high RNG energy touch).
By no means this is a troll deck, you can climb with this deck on ladder but you should not play it as you have unlimited ressources just because most cards cycle themselfes or generate new cards. You still want to end the game before turn 15 and prepare it for a Yogg-Saron, Hope's End play with/without a combination of a double Arcane Giant presentation when your opponent is low on cards already.
A side note to Ethereal Peddler: When you can play him - play him. Do not get greedy for the discounts, discount what you have in hand and that's it. In the worst case he is just a 5/6 for 5 mana (Pit Fighter hello) but that's a good enough.
Cards that could be considered for this deck:
Prince Malchezaar - when you play this card you need at least 4 card draws that accelerate you in your own deck and with only 2x Fan of Knives that's not enough. You might give up the Shadowcaster / Brann Bronzebeard but then you will give up a lot more potential powerplays than you might have with 5 generated legendaries from the Prince.
Sir Finley Mrrgglton - your hero power in this deck will not be used very often, so switching it would be just a filler for this deck. You should be able to play at least 1 card per turn and if you still have enough mana left you can still use your dagger.
No unearthed raptor for the "Buy one!" turn two Raptor turn three tempo?
This deck is awesome
I replace Edwin VanCleef and Shadowcaster with 2 Wild Pyromancer. Now I can win against aggro decks.
Before drop Ethereal Peddler you need at least 3 other class card to get value. Preparation and Burgle are important to get early tempo and trigger Wild Pyromancer.
Have you tried Nefarian in this deck? Would you include it?
i think it's a midrange deck
nefarian is too slow
Is this deck worth crafting?
Bcs im missing a few cards here and there
i'm not a pro, but from experience it's up to you, because this deck is pure fun and its not for climbing the ladder. you're better off crafting cards for more meta decks like midrange hunter for example. but if you have dust to spare, why not?
I cannot understand why people cry for a guide. This rogue deck, as all others, too, plays just on curve. Do they need a guide, that says: Play prep -> burgle? Or on turn 2 with coin: Play coin, then SI:7? Or Turn 10, after having played e.g. 7 spells: Now play Yogg, if the opponent has a decent board?
Guides are overrated.
So it's another "vote me vote me I'll write the guide" nonsence?
Downvoted.
Yet there still isn't a guide despite 76 upvotes
Oh, okay, you actually wrote the guide, and decks looks quite fun. Not sure how consistent it is, but "fun" is enough to vote up.
Have you considered Nefarian? He looks good with 1-mana brann.
How high did you get with the deck? I`m always unsure about the Thief rogue, while I have fun playing it the winrate is always close to a bit more than 50%. Well, maybe I`m just too unlucky, can`t do much with the deck when the opponent is constantly killing me with his lucky topdeck Yoggs :D

You got 58 upvotes already, where's the guide?
This is my favorite deck atm. Don't have [card]Edwin VanCleef[/card], so I use Xaril, Poisoned Mind instead. Not as consistent, but I love the card anyways.
Looks like a fun deck, but it's waaaay too slow for this meta. Double Burgle and Shadowcaster in an all aggro meta seems like a really bad idea. Brann Bronzebeard also seems incredibly ambitious tbh, you're not gonna get a lot of turn 8 value plays.
Brann Bronzebeardis not only there for Ethereal Peddler. I think it is even better with Swashburglar and you can use him with Azure Drake as well.
Of course, that's why I said "turn 8 value play". You could of course use it with Swashburglar as well, but if that's all brann is going to achieve in the majority of games, then it's not worth running i m o. In this meta you need early game tempo, a turn 4 value play with vanilla stats on the board isn't exactly going to cut it most of the time.
Played one game and upvoted the deck because it was an awesome yoggish match! I play it as a fun deck and not competitive. Missing [card]Bloodmage Thalnos[/card] and one Burgle replaced with two Loot Hoarder.
