Made some updates to the deck that I think make it a little better for the current meta.
The bananas go the opponent right?
Solid deck.
Please update any changes
Since I got golden Mukla, I've really been trying to incorporate him into a deck and this one is pretty successful.
After some testing though I decided to take out both Cult Sorcerers in exchange for 2 Faceless Summoners. It has aided me in the late game and always given me some needed board presence. You can always keep one as another 2 drop and spell damage for finishing. I don't like Mirror Image in this deck so I just replaced it with Cabalist's Tome. More spell density and just more helpful all around, again in the late game.
With the bananas, assuming you were able to get Mukla off, you have a variety of activators for Archmage. I don't run 2 Arcane Blasts because I only have one, but Forbidden Flame does just fine and gives you the option of a large removal.
I think the cult sorcerers are way too valuable. I mean you're missing an arcane blast so doesn't matter too much. Arcane blast is probably the best spell in the deck though so you should probably try to craft it when you can. Mirror image has won me countless games in the first few turns. It can also absorb a lot of damage in the late game. The biggest problem this deck runs into is aggro, so you definitely need as much early game as you can get.
Not finding this deck to be that great. If your opponent isn't that good, then maybe.
Really need a guide to help out.
I'll see what I can do, might have a video incoming. I've been experimenting with different cards trying to find the right balance for the current meta, so will probably have a few updates coming soon.
So Yogg hopes end sometimes kills me or loses me the game. Maybe I'm using it wrong? What has your experience been?
Yogg should only be used if you're in a desperate situation or you just don't have any other plays. He will often times draw you a lot of cards or clear the enemies board. Just make sure if you do you use him to not wait too late as you might fatigue yourself to death (he can draw a lot of cards).
Any chance we can get a guide for this build? Maybe a video or two?
Had to DE some Old Gods legendaries for classes I don't play so I can get Archmage Antonidas but boy was it worth it.
what did you replace with cabalists?
I replaced it with Polymorph as you will need it a least one time in a match and Cabalist's Tome is too unpredictable.
In the match above the Cabalist's Tome turned into another Cabalist's Tome and two secrets.
I also don't have Ragnaros the Firelord so I replaced it with Faceless Summoner for more board presence and to force a board clear.
Ive been forcing myself to ladder with mage this season, and my best success has been with this deck. The only change I made is to your current list with 2x Cult sorcerer.
-1x mirror image
+1 arcane explosion this gave me some much needed board clear as it combos well with the plethora of spell damage in the deck. try it out, it feels great! people tend not to expect a turn 4 clear either. Thanks for the deck! I have it at rank 8 right now, and still climbing
I havent really missed Mirror Image, but if you think there is a better slot for arcane explosion, let me know!
I like to use Twilight Flamecaller as it does the same thing and leaves a body afterwards for the opponent to deal with.
I think I'm going to try replacing Mukla with a Summoning Stone as there are six cards that cost over three mana.
I made a few tweaks for personal taste and have been on a tear over the past few days going from rank 12 to 9 and still going. I will post my decklist on my page and my thoughts between the two decks. They are both pretty solid decks. Check mine out if you want.

I dropped from 7 to 13, i really need a guide on this cause i dont want to keep playing shitty aggro decks to win... and i suck at mage apparently.
Edit: I think this is the deck I was looking for, I managed to understand some of the things i was doing wrong and I'll try to upload a video to show how -i think- you should play the deck.
Btw I only played a few games after i dropped to 13 but i managed to win every game and got back to 10, the deck can be super OP if you plan some things ahead and manage well your resources (like not just dropping flamewaker if there are no enemy minions and/or you have no spells)
