Dog's Deathrattle Rogue!
This deck has me all over the place also, if you get the chance watch anyone playing this deck on twitch and it might help out a little because it helped me a little.
Replacement for Cairne Bloodhoof?
Playing Wild Mode with Naxx cards. You can't sub Cairne here.
LOL That was me! Holy shit that's hilarious <3
He may have had Anub from the Journey Below. I seriously doubt if any list runs him constantly.
Playing a similar version.
My changes:
-2 Twilight Summoners
-1 Shadowcasters
- Cairne (Haven't crafted)
- Thalnos (Haven't crafted)- Edwin (Too much big stuff)
+2 Tomb Pillagers.
+2 Earthen Ring farseer
+Sir Finley (Hero power with no deadly is making near useless to me)
+ Journey Below
Lots of changes but I feel like they flow better vs Agroo i'm seeing more often. Will put in Cairne for a Journey Below or Dark Iron Skulker when I craft him.
Would love to hear any suggestions for this new one or I'll post this version.
I like many of your changes, but i feel if you run journey below you should run van cleef, since it gives you both easy access to bigger threats and activates van cleef combos as well as si:7.
I feel the only card I actively dislike in dogs build is loot hoarder. I replaced it for journey below since grabbing a clutch anubarak or tomb pillager or sylvanas can win you the game against certain decks. you can even grab a loot hoarder or huckster to curve out smoother in the worst case.
Any suggestions against C'thun Priest with this deck? I find it impossible to gain tempo against them due to their high health minions and healing, while Holy Nova / Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing easily help them keep the board under control.
N'Zoth, the Corruptor helps, but I find they can regain control due to reasons above. Playing around the AOEs too much seems to go in their favor as well as it gives them more time to buff C'thun. Doing ok against other C'thun decks but currently at 100% loss rate against Priest.
This is not really a tempo deck, it is a control deck. Don't be concerned about curving out and go for the best solution to trade your board favorably. The intention is that your minions won't stay up and you will gain value from that natural process of elimination. Then after you have saturated your opponent's resources you play N'zoth if you haven't snowballed into victory already.
RIP ROGUE THX BLIZZARD
This deck has so many awkward and unplayable turns. Twilight Summoner will almost always just lose you the board so I replaced it with Tomb Pillager.
I took out Edwin and added Sir Finley because there isn't enough cheap stuff in the deck to even consistently get him to a 6/6 and the dagger power is near useless.
Dark Iron Skulker is too low value and slow at one copy so replaced it with Shadow Strike to deal with beefy minions. Even Zoo plays Councilman so there's a good target for it in every matchup.
Those are just my initial reactions, but I'm sure after a few more games I'm going to want to replace some other stuff because this deck just has a horrible habit of having a bunch of 4-6 cost cards clogging up your hand.
is it just me or does it feel like these rogue n'zoth deaths are significantly weaker than paladin ones due to the lack of tyrion?
RIP ROGUE THX BLIZZARD
Little pricey, but totally worth it. 20 games in, and moved from 14-9 fairly easy.
What should you be mulliganing for with this deck?
General mulligans: Undercity Huckster, Unearthed Raptor, Loot Hoarder,Backstab, Xaril, Poisoned Mind.
Of course it varies depending on what you are playing against. I.e. Loot Hoarder may not be a good choice vs. Rogue/Mage/Druid
Backstab, Huckster.
He's the reason for the deck...
If you're going to be playing rogue a decent bit I'd definitely say Edwin, but if you're playing otheer Nzoth decks/classes,etc. Cairne makes more sense
Edwin isn't exactly an ace in this deck unless you really get a huge turn with poisons, another Farseer would be perfectly fine in his place.
