Hi, I'm F2P player which never managed to get Legend (maybe because I never try ;p). I play mostly for having fun. In every season I try to make some fun deck which brings me to rank 5. I'm glad to share with you my deck which works very well at the end of last season from rank 12 to 5 (24-7). There is a short guide.

1. General strategy

This deck works quite good against Midrange and almost every Control decks. If you play it properly it can also do well against popular Aggro decks.

Main win condition in this deck is Reno Jackson and Ice Block which practically makes your hero 60 hp. This deck isn't easy to play, you have to think a lot to make a valuable trades. Generally you use your early removals (FrostboltFlamecannonForgotten Torch) and early minions (Zombie ChowMana WyrmMad Scientist) to keep board clear. In late game you can use your Ysera and other big minions to win.

2. Mulligan

General: Mana WyrmZombie ChowFrostboltFlamecannonForgotten TorchFlamewaker

Aggro: Ice BlockReno Jackson, you can also keep Doomsayer

Control: Elise Starseeker and card draws like Arcane Intellect and Acolyte of Pain

3. Card explanation

Coming soon

4. Card replacement

Sylvanas Windrunner ---> Emperor Thaurissan

Dr. Boom ---> Ragnaros the Firelord or Archmage Antonidas (but he needs an activator so I would add some cheap spells then)

Ysera ---> Personally I think she is irreplaceable but you can try some other big minions like Ragnaros the Firelord or Nefarian (not sure if he would work and don't have him already so I won't try)

Molten Giant ---> also some big minion

Bloodmage Thalnos ---> if you think you need card draw then Loot Hoarder but you can also use some cards from below

Other cards worth to try:

Unstable Portal - I played it before i get Bloodmage Thalnos but i don't like it in Control deck.

Arcane Blast - I don't have it but may work good when you play Archmage Antonidas

Sludge Belcher - if you face a lot of Aggro you can use him but I don't see enough space for him and try to live without him due to standard incoming.

DuplicateEffigy and Counterspell - all of this secrets are good in some situation. I tried all of them but I like to have only 2 secrets in this deck (bigger chance to get Ice Block from Mad Scientist)

Pyroblast - I don't think you need this as a finisher but sometimes it works great when it comes from Ethereal Conjurer.

5. Matchups

Mage

Tempo Mage (easy) - you just play your standard game trying survive to late game and then you have huge advantage.

Freeze Mage (easy) - this deck is slow so you have a lot of time to get reno to your hand. Then you just have to put him after Alextrasza and Ysera can help you a lot in late game.

Reno Mage (averange) - you have to push your opponent to play his Reno Jackson before you then you can beat him in late game using Ysera

Druid

Combo druid (easy) - I have very good results against them. You have to use your removals to keep board clear and sit safely behind your Ice Block. You will win late game.

Rouge

Mill Rouge (very hard) - this is the only Rouge deck i met on ladder (2 times only i think). It is extremely hard to win against them due to your slow playstyle and a lot of high cost cards.

Warlock

Renolock (above averange) - you have to push him to play his Reno before you. The main problem is Lord Jaraxxus which is very good in late game. Keep your Polymorph for Feugen or Stalagg

Zoolock (above averange) - if you have Ice Block and Reno Jackson you are on the good way to win. You can also mulligan for some AOE.

Warrior

Patron Warrior (easy) - this deck is quite slow so you have enough time to get Flamestrike which destroy Grimm Patron wave.

Control Warrior (below averange) - it may be quite hard MU when you don't get Ysera or Golden Monkey. Try to not use your Reno before his Alexstrasza.

Priest

Dragon Priest (hard) - he can use his Entomb on your Ysera or Golden Monkey. The main way to win is play your Elise Starseeker and find your Monkey.

Control Priest (very hard) ThoughtsteelEntombLightbombShadow Word: Death all this cards makes him very good in late game so it's very hard to beat him.

Hunter

Face Hunter (averange) - simple rule if you have Reno Jackson you have big chance for win if not it can be hard. You need to survive to late game and then he probably will be out of cards on hand.

Midrange Hunter (easy) - standard play to survive to late game should give you win.

Shaman

Face Shaman (above averange) - if you survive early game and don't let him to control the board you have big chance to win. Sometimes you will have to use your Reno when you still on 15 hp. Water Elemental can help you against Doomhammer

Paladin

Secret Paladin (averange) - you have a lot of removals and healing to survive to late game. Then you will probably win. You can have some problems with more agressive version. Try to force him to play his Mysterious Challenger on empty board.

Aggro Paladin (below averange) - you are in big trouble when you dont have AOE. He can easy floods the board and buffs his minions. Also you will suffer when he plays his Divine Favor and gets for example 6 cards.

Midrange Paladin (easy) - you play your standard game and win in late game. Watch out for Muster for Battle and Quatermaster combo.

6. Outro

If you play this deck properly you can win with most of popular decks on ladder. I also think that with little changes it will be also good when Standard comes. Remember that Hearthstone is game that should give you fun. This deck gives me a lot of fun to play and also quite good results in ladder.

Have fun everyone!
