Chieftain Scarvash
This deck can be used for normal or heroic Chieftain Scarvash.
Heroic Chieftain Scarvash starts the fight with 15 Armor and 30 Health, but he also has a Burly Rockjaw Trogg and a Stonesplinter Trogg. You will be taking at least 5 damage a turn (possibly more) if you don't deal with them very quickly. Your life total will dwindle dangerously low, but the goal is to get some minions on the board and finish him in one fell swoop with a Bloodlust. You really want to mulligan for your 2-cost minions and a Powermace to get the best start.
Special Cards
These are special cards used by heroic Scarvash.
Card Swap Suggestions
These are suggestions for swapping out cards in the posted deck for use against heroic Scarvash.
If you choose to swap out anything keep in mind it's best to use minions that cost an even amount of mana (2, 4, 6, 8) and for spells choose an odd cost (1, 3, 5, 7). Otherwise, you will not be able to cast anything on curve cause it will always cost 11 mana.
Boss Deck Listing
This is the complete listing for the deck used by Scarvash.
2 Ancient Shade
2 Burly Rockjaw Trogg
2 Confuse
2 Dart Trap
2 Earthen Pursuer
2 Fireguard Destroyer
2 Keeper of Uldaman
2 Lightning Bolt
2 Lumbering Golem
2 Rumbling Elemental
2 Starfire
2 Stonesplinter Trogg
2 Tunnel Trogg
the deck works fine, I was able to complete it
I didn't have 1 Powermace so I used my Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer
I do feel that the deck does need some healing in it though because I only won with 3 health remaining
Boss AI likes to go face if it can, use your taunt minions
Not as complicated as everyone makes it seem. The key is EVEN COST MINIONS & ODD COST SPELLS
Here was the deck I used:
Devolving Missles (important)
Earth Shock
Annoy-o-Tron
Explosive Sheep
Showstopper (important)
Feral Spirit
Healing Rain x 1
Lightning Storm
Whack-A-Gnoll-Hammer (important)
Hex
Piloted Shredder
Saronite Chain Gang
Bloodlust
Zilliax x 1
Giggling Inventor x 1
Earthquake
Tidal Wave x 1
Mulligan for Showstopper or Devolving Missles and pray for a turn 3 Wack-A-Gnoll Hammer, Feral Spirit, Lightning Storm...play control until you can get enough minions out to use Bloodlust.
Having a board clear like Earthquake will save you some headache.
Didn't work well.
Unfortunately outdated... Didnt work for me after a lot of tries...
Took away some elementals and replaced with explosive sheep which was key when I finally won. Also added zilliax which gave me health enough to survive when I triggered bloodlust, which I only drew one of. Thanks for the help!
non of the decks works, he ALWAYS kills my doomsayer, its crackle or confuse. Any ideas how to kill him?
Doomsayer isn't in this deck?
Was struggling to pass this one, did some changes, and got it in the second try! Good luck!

lolol 1 try with 1 hp on 4 tuour.. ;d !!!
You need to drop Doomsayer turn 2 and pray he doesn't have a way to kill it, then the fight is pretty straight forward as long as your draw isn't abysmal. Put doomsayer in the deck, chuck out the yetis they dont do much
I've created a brand new deck using Priest that is way more consistent: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1057731-chieftain-scarvash-heroic-video . However, Doomsayer still remains an absolutely terrible addition. He nearly always gets killed immediately and you're screwed.
I agree with this. After hundreds of tries, I've only managed to make it past turn 3 with any momentum a single time with this deck as is.
A successful turn 2 Doomsayer is FAR FAR FAR more likely than having everything line up just right for a miracle Lightning Storm.
Hi,
Used original deck and won on 5th try. Didn't have one Powermace so swapped in a Likkim. Opening hand that won had Whirling Zap-o-matic, Annoy-o-Tron, and Hex. Key is to be able to play a 2-cost minion on turn 2. In my case the Whirling guy.
Tempo change happened for me on turn 4 where I played Mechwarper followed by two discounted mana cost: Annoy-o-Trons.
Good luck!
Win at 4th time with this deck and without bloodlust easy !!! before i was trying doomsayer mage version at least for 3 days and nothing !!! This deck was perfect !!!
easy boss actually. made it in 3 tries with some changes

thank you! did it with exactly this deck -> hsreplay link
To everyone who uses Doomsayer, I tried with Doomsayer and he's able to remove it literally every time. How many times did you have to restart before you successfully got a doomsayer to stick? I'm tired of trying lol, I must just have really bad luck.
Happy New Year everyone!
Used this Deck today (03.01.2018), and actually won on my first attempt, even without Bloodlust. Did no changes to the deck, used it 1:1. Don't know if I just got very lucky, but it worked for me, luckily. He played 2 of the 4 Mana 7/4's, which let him draw the 7 damage card. He drew this card in his next turns, after he played the 7/4 guys. Anything else was good curve for me + good outcomes of the Shredders / Heropower. Only needed to use 1 Lightning Storm.
Hope you get lucky aswell.
You definitely got insanely lucky.
First things first, it's not a 'First Try' if you had to restart a bunch of times because you did not get the right starting cards.
This deck (with Jarikku's changes) might work for you, but a LOT of things have to line up perfectly in the early game, so be prepared to restart in turns 1, 2 or 3, about 50-100 times.
The boss MUST NOT use The Coin in turn 1.
You MUST have a Doomsayer in play on turn 2.
The boss MUST NOT play Confuse in turn 2.
The boss MUST NOT play Lightning Bolt in turn 2.
The boss MUST NOT play Crackle in turn 2.
You MUST have a Feral Spirit played in turn 3.
If any one of those conditions are not met, restart.
If every single one lines up, you will have a chance at winning with this deck.
