Total Deck Rating

Hello everyone! My name is Reyn, i am a hearthstone player and streamer.
I want to share with you a deck that brings me to legend this season with 24 wins and 7 loses total.
This is a control druid. Very fun to play and also effective! The main feature of the deck is Recombobulator and Darnassus Aspirant synergy.
Have fun! And sorry for my english :)
Current winrate on EU ladder: 42 - 17 (around 71% for 59 games)
Mulligan:
You always search for Darnassus Aspirant and Recombobulator. If you have it, you should keep Wrath, Keeper of the Grove or Earthen Ring Farseer as well.
I always keep Innervate and Living Roots if not playing against warrior or priest.
Emperor Thaurissan is good against warrior and priest
Harrison Jones os ok keep against warrior
Cards replacements:
Living Roots - Zombie Chow or Argent Squire
Earthen Ring Farseer - Deathlord
Savage Combatant - Piloted Shredder
Harrison Jones, Emperor Thaurissan, Sylvanas Windrunner - Azure Drake, Sunwalker or Piloted Shredder
Kel'Thuzad, Cenarius - you could try Ysera or second Ancient of War, or Savage Roar
Cards explanations:
Innervate - a must have card in any druid deck. Helps mostly in early game.
Living Roots - this is a slow deck so we need something to survive against faster decks. I choose this card because it is useful in the lategame (unlike Zombie Chow, which is possible replacements for Living Roots).
Wrath - a solid versatile card. One of the best in Druids arsenal!
Darnassus Aspirant - a core card for this deck. You use it to gain tempo and bord control all at once. You play Aspirant as soon as possible against agressive decks since this is a 2/3 body. You can hold on playing it against slower decks, especially warriors! Try to secure that mana crystal with Recombobulator
Recombobulator - another core card. This is an alternative for Wild Growth. Perfect scenario against fast decks (especially paladins) is something like: 1st turn you play Darnassus Aspirant with Coin, 2nd turn you hit Shielded Minibot with Darnassus Aspirant, and then use Recombobulator (and get Totem Golem of course). When you do not have Aspirant, you could play Recombobulator as a 3/2, or use it on one of Sapling. Feel free to get this guy out of your hand, if you don't have a better option.
Big Game Hunter - a must have card for any control deck. Because of Dr. Boom and Mysterious Challenger BGH always finds his target.
Earthen Ring Farseer - main purpose of this card is to heal your taunts (Druid of the Claw or Ancient of War) or big creatures to make favorable trades. Against face decks you could heal face too
Swipe - the best AoE that druids have. Also a decent finisher. Good card, no questions here!
Keeper of the Grove - good against aggro, also silence, also good with Recombobulator and Earthen Ring Farseer
Savage Combatant - kind of questionable card. It helps with board control, but 4 health is too low. You can take Piloted Shredder instead.
Azure Drake - a nice card to play with innervate. Spell damage could be useful (especially with Swipe). A solid card, not too exciting though. Use when you are ahead on board.
Druid of the Claw - most of the times you use it in Bear form. 4/6 taunt is very solid. Earthen Ring Farseer often helps Druid of the Claw to stay on board
Harrison Jones - useful against warriors, paladins, hunters. Just slow down your opponent and grab some cards! When you play against Patron warrior aim for Death's Bite
Emperor Thaurissan - an additional "ramp" for the deck. Like Aspirants, Emperor Thaurissan helps to play your most powerful cards a turn (or two) earlier. Which is usually a big difference. Try to play Emperor Thaurissan when you have cards with 7+ mana cost in your hand
Sylvanas Windrunner - slow but very powerful card. With the support of Kel'Thuzad Sylvanas can crush almost any control deck. Hard to do the trick, though. And it is not very useful against fast decks.
Ancient of Lore - a solid druid card. One of the best in the game! Use it to draw cards. Against face decks you can heal your face or even Ancient of War
Ancient of War - a BIG taunt. You can't rely on this card most of the times, but if your opponent can't find a hard removal or silence then you probably win.
Dr. Boom - very good stats. Boom bots could be a real pain to deal with. Good in any match up.
Kel'Thuzad - the potential of this card is infinite. But try to use any good opportunity. Resurrecting 2 boom bots is often good enough. Kel'Thuzad is too slow for any aggro match up. Versus control you could try to bait their hard removal first, and then finish the game with Kel'Thuzad
Cenarius - it is useful against aggro if you manage to survive till turn 9. But this card shines in control matchups. I prefer to give my minions +2/+2 to make a favorable trades or just to finish the game. If you don't have a board, then 5/8 + 2/2 taunts are good too.

Questions and Answers:
Does this deck works?
- So far it works awesome for me. I've tested it on EU server from rank 5 to legend and in legend. Winrate still more than 70%. Also i played it in a local tourney, there was no loses with this deck at all!
Is it easy to win with this deck?
- No too easy. You need some experience and understanding of the control style and match ups.
Is it better than a midrange druid?
- Probably not. You can take your opponent by surprise with this decks - that's for sure! If he knows what to expect, it would not be so easy to win.
Should i craft this deck?
- I think this is very fun to play! So try it out

Ok, I did the math on transforming Cenarius. 12 of the times it's a good trade, and only 1 bad trade in the deck (3/15 warlock card)
This is a great deck too. I like all of the big minions and believe it or not, this is one of Kel'Thuzads best decks to be in.
I'm not a fan of the druid class because it's tagged as combo class with Force of Nature and Savage Roar. I hate these spells used like that. I found your deck and I like it. Have you tried to improve it?
Alright, I've got to say it. I don't understand where all the praise for this deck is coming from. OP apparently isn't playing in the US region so maybe that has something to do with it, but I find that hard to believe as well.
I decided to craft Cenarius to play this deck, as it was the only card I was missing, and although it became clear early on that I wasn't going to get anywhere with this deck I went ahead and played enough games to fall from rank 4 to rank 8 (it's the end of the season anyway and I wanted to use my Cenarius).
If you don't draw essentially every early game card your deck has from the get go then you get crushed almost immediately. And look at the early game that you do have: what does Living Roots ever succeed in doing? Big Game Hunter isn't actually an early game card, nor is Recombobulator. And if you don't recombobulate your Darnassus Aspirant immediately then you better believe your opponent will remove it on their turn. Playing the Aspirant and recombobulating it all in the same turn would take you 4 mana. So what DOESN'T cost 4+ in this deck? Nothing worth doing.
And that's if things go "well". Half of your games will be spent staring at your life total going down while you hold 6+ mana cost cards.
With all of that said, I'd happily embrace a guide or some videos showing how to properly play this deck. I'm sincerely surprised by the amount of universal acclaim this list has gotten while I've simultaneously gotten such terrible results with it.
living roots, wrath, innervate, earthen all early game. and u got taunts to back u up later
Yes, living roots is a 1 mana card that can be played, but what is its purpose in this deck? This isn't a token deck, there are no buffs to give the tokens. If it's to dish out 2 damage, then on what? It works great vs Knife Juggler, otherwise not so much. Warrior's Acolyte can take it, Paladin's Shielded Minibot or buffed Jouster can take it, Priest's Cleric and Whelp can take it, etc.
Earthen, I feel, is better suited for extending the stickiness of your meatier cards later on in the match. The only thing an Earthen is healing on turn 3 is maybe your own face.
Wrath and Innervate are solid cards, no argument there.
Are you saying you've been doing well with this deck? Which ranks? What kind of decks are you mostly going against and doing well on?
Edit: And I'll clarify that I'm sure this deck can perform fine among many ranks, but the title specifically says "Legend". Too much luck is required, in my opinion, where as most other Legend decks use pretty reliable gimmicks.
Not sure what to say. I am not even a Druid player (I cant STAND combo finisher, so boring and lame), and I win with this deck quite a bit. It feels less dependent on getting that combo.
Recombobulator has so many targets! You can trade any of the 7 drops and recombobulate them, and it is also great on Cenarius himself (the 5/8). It is great on BGH and keeper of the grove for an attempt at better stats. You can trade and recombobulate something with low health.
Early game hasn't been a problem for me, it is just as pvolgin says.
Sounds like you just don't like druid as a class
I think people forget the living roots/Cenarius combo, then you can recombobulater your Cenarius for a true 9 cost once he loses health.
Living roots summons 2 1/1s, add the 2 you should have one the board and then use Cenarius for his buff. That should give you a total of 8/8 in buffs alone.
Cenarius is one of the worst 9 costs if it wasn't for his buff, so it's always a good idea to get one hit out of him and transform him if you can.
rank?
No wild growth? I feel like it will be extremely draw dependent.
I find this comment hilarious. Back in the day wild growth was considered bad because people thought it was draw dependent.
"Draw Dependent" is such a meaningless phrase in a card game
Wouldn't healbots make more sense? Better heal and target for recombobulator
You usually want to recombob 7+ mana cards
Yet the deck builder speaks of the synergy of recombobulate Aspirant to avoid the deathrattle. So I guess that asking for Antique Healbot is not as bad as a question as you suggest.
Is it possible to replace Sylvanas without lowering the effectiveness of the deck?
Also this deck is designed to climb the ladder, not deal with all the random shit being tested in casual.
or the piloter is bad
cool deck prob
