This one is my best mech mage deck so far !!!! WITH THIS DECK I CLIMB UP TO rank 4 IN EU! :D
I`ve try so many version of this deck because I consider this deck very useful in curent "meta"!

Reasons I include some of the cards(only the strange ones):
As we know mech decks runs out energy very quicly,one good board clear,one good combo, smash the entire table! So..even the new decks forgot Mr.T(white version) I personally believe that those spare parts combined with archmage can win you a game just by simply cast 2 or 3 fireballs. It can be replaceable with Ragnoros or 2 fel reavers if u dont have it!
So many weapons in those days...so many paladins with swords,knifes,secrets(dr.6)etc...and poor Spider Tank just cant handle so much..so this 3 drop can save your ass from board clears and still have something on table to activate your mechs like Goblin Blastmage etc... However, if u not find so many weapons in your ladder it can be change for an seconds Spider Tank!
Clockwork Knight:
Decent card,decent stats,decent buff! Overall:Decent! Kappa
Super good againts mages and ramp druids! You just need to be very careful when u play it!
Playing an good Loatheb makes the difference between lose and win!
Argent Commander(new card):
As u may know, Leeroy Jenkins is now an option..but I just dont like this card! With Argent Commander you can bring some taunts down, trade efficient and still have an 4-2 on table! Argent Value boys! But if u feel this old card unless just cut it...!
Mulligan Guide:
Simply try to find the best cards! 1-2 drop and some good synergy! Always keep: Cogmaster, Mechwarper,Annoy-o-Tron,Clockwork Gnome!
With coin: Keep Piloted Shredder with an solid 2 drop,Spider Tank,Harvest Golem, Tinkertown Technician are optional..depends againts what class u playing!

If you are an good player, and you can play around swipes,consecration, flamestrike and u know how to counter most of the new decks COUGH (SECRET PALADIN) u can push this deck to legend! I mannage to be around 500 legend 2 seasons ago but the deck was different, now I experimented some things! Also dont flamerino my deck, its the first deck I post and didn.t even expect to get more then 10 upvotes! :D

How are people finding the Mana Wyrms? I like the three body for a 1 cost but I'm wondering whether they could be swapped for another Clockwork Gnome and Annoy-o-Tron or I have seen other mention Unstable Portals?

Hey! Cool deck you have here! Just wondering whether is it good to substitute a Spider Tank for an Eydis Darkbane for more spare parts synergy?
not really :) its not a mech so it doesnt benefit other mech effects (mechwrpper and goblin blast mage). Also mostly you save the spare parts for antonidas unless it gives you lethal or superior board control. But i can see it work in some cases seems more like a priest card to me :)
Without spare parts you'd have to hit her with a fireball in order to activate her effect.
How about running Enhance-o Mechano over Mechanical Yeti? I know we would miss the spare parts but a 3 drop that can give you a bit more power to get that good start seems great. Also wondering whether it's worth taking out the Harvest Golem to add another Annoy-o-Tron and removing the Drake for a Clockwork-Gnome? I just think it's crucial to get a good start with Mech Mage and by increasing the volume of the low cost cards you get more chance of this.

if you have a board with full of mechs sure enchance-o mechana would be the better pick but mostly when playin mech mage you semi control the board to trade efficiently therefore you probably are better off with the yeti. as its a big health pool drop to be taken care off. (which gives your previous mech summons room to attack safely )
1 drake is also not bad because its like destoy this or my fireballs gonna hurt even more. +card draw. Sure you sometimes have to play around antonidas to win the game but deck isnt build to win most of its games by antonidas. Its supposed to trade efficiently have board very early and finish off early probably turn 7-8. Therefore another clockwork gnome might not be too efficient instead of the drake.
As for annoy-o-tron, most of the games its just there to stop you getting attacked by 1 huge mob for 2 turns or protect you other mechs at start of the game. 2 of these might a bit overkill to your rushing mech damage.
You can always replace harvest golem, however competitive change to that is spider tank. As the author of this deck mentioned though, spider tank doesnt always absorb the damages well. A minion which needs 2 initial attacks to be destroyed can be the life saver sometimes. (Also after trades having mech even if its 2 / 1 can be really powerful with your goblin blast mages)
However, even though all of your suggestions can work better in certain cases, non of these suggestions will make the deck any stronger against the enemy decks which already mech mage struggles against.
If you have to choose between Dr. Boom and Archmage Antonidas what should be crafted?
I do have enough Dust crafting one Legendary Card. Could the missing one be replaced with Sylvanas Windrunner cause she and Loatheb are my only Legendary Cards so far. It seems to be a though dicission, Archmage Antonidas can win you games with finishing Fireballs but Dr. Balance would be good in every other Deck too...
I think Dr. could be better because Archmage can use only in mage, but Boom in any other deck. so Dr.Balance are better.
Other than what nickadg said, archmage isnt really a 7 drop but rather 8-9 drop (with spare part / frostbolt)
Boom before archmage is better in this case even though in some cases you will wish you had antonidas over dr.balanced i think for overall mech strategy dr balanced seems the better pick.
As for your other question sylvanas definitly not good here as you dont want enemies random minion u want to burst em down ^^
Boom has a lot more versatility. It doesn't have a specific win condition and can be used in almost any deck. Craft Sgt Balanced.
Dragon Priest is a huge counter to us unless we get a perfect start and curve. (Some decks just lose to other decks by default). For example those dragon priests mostly lose to control decks. Best part about this deck is that when u get curve its pretty hard for enemy to stop you. + If you dont get the prfct curve you can still win pretty fast by enemy not having cards needed in his/her hand.
So i suggest against dragon priest try to go face when you can and believe in top deck finisher. Its extremely hard to try to control the board against em ( too much buff taunts minion steals etc) + the heal also neglects your mostly 2-3 mech dmgs (no passing taunts)
When you believe in top deck lethal dont try to control board just go for the finish and draw fireball next turn :D

zero card draw makes this deck incredibly weak in the late game....
A mech mage deck nowdays really needs an Acolyte of Pain or Arcane Intellect so it can keep up pressure in the late game. Otherwise, you're topdecking by turn 6 or 7, and against Dragon or Control decks, that means you're dead

The idea is to kill your opponent before the late game :^)
with this deck when mirror entity is in your hand. You lose tempo way too much. This is already a medium speed mech deck cant lose any more tempo. Also, your win condion comes from early minions effigy is a bit waste there (sure it can proc on 5 drop once or twice but wont be valable much as you think) Mirror entity is just undependable early agression is more needed. adding those cards will drop your win rate against cancer hunters paladins i think.
