Well you can't say "with this draw, it's not 30/70". The matchup is either 30/70, or it isn't, accounting for all possible draws of both decks.
I'm not saying you can't win against a dragon priest with this deck, of course you can. I'm just saying you're an underdog. In this case it's actually pretty simple to see that you're an underdog. The priests drops on the same mana cost, counters your every card on the same mana cost. Plus the AoE wrecks you, almost regardless of how much you try to play around it.
Priest is easy match up. You have 2 hex and 2 earthshocks to win against them.
Yes, great argument. By the same logic, every deck is an easy matchup.
I think the jousters are way too inconsistent. Zombie chow are already so good in shaman. Also, the Mistcaller is not a good card. a 6 mana 4/4 is a crappy body and the buff isnt important. Also, The good doctor bum is the best card in the game. I would never replace it.
Today I hit legend (from rank 5) with deck like this (crackles instead of rockbiters). Only bad match-up i met is aggro rogue.
I dropped Rockbite as well. It has kind of been a weak card I feel people have just kind of clung to. The deck is weak against super fast aggro and Biter does not help you win the Dragon Priest match.
This deck is tearing shit apart atm.
Highly suggest you save your gold for Naxxramas then. Sludge Belcher, Zombie Chow, Death's Bite, Haunted Creeper and other cards from Naxx are still being played in decks today.
Gadgetzan Jouster is a terrible card for this deck. I used it in place of Zombie Chow and it only won 1 of 13 jousts!
What else i could put there ?
I tried Worgen Infiltrator and it looks very much better.
That's why I suggested you save your gold and get the rest of it. It's worth it to own all the adventure cards. You can craft everything else when you need it, and earning gold isn't that hard if you play a lot.
Got a 12-win streak with this deck! Rank 15 to 9 so far and climbing. Awesome deck,
i think thats a pretty bad idea.... 1/2 the reason al'akir is so good is rock biter. also this deck is weaponless as is, and has no single target removal or burn, which makes rockbiter even more valuable. i havent played this deck enough to be sure what to cut for it, but i think one of the following: hex, chow, or thunderbluff. GL in your future ventures.
I cut one shredder and gonna see if that's ok. Not sure in all honesty
Why no The Mistcaller? I really want to use him.
And I think Justicar Trueheart is really good in totem shaman.
Mistcaller <3
well this is "totem shaman" and mistcaller doesn't work on totems... not to say it would be terrible, i honestly dont know and im not gonna craft it just to find out 0_o... and also you know justicar only lets you pick which totem you want rather than letting you summon two, right? Not to say thats too bad, its just that card is so slow and its stats are kinda shit... if this deck ran more spells that let you control the board, i would be more in favor, that would allow you to play slower cards and also incentivize the ability to select a spell dmg totem. but i think that would be a bit of a different deck, bur let me know how it goes XD
Yeah, I know thats what she does but I think it's a really good effect. It's very powerful to choose the Spell Damage totem before a Lightning Storm, or a taunt totem when a threat comes in.
yeah im not saying those card choices are without merit, im just saying their value diminishes when you dont have these other synergistic cards.
Can't seem to go beyond rank 13 with this deck. Handlocks destroy me, Wallet Warrior too.
Mages own this deck like a child :)
