This is an easy deck to beat Drakkisath with, relying on the poor AI of the boss. When you have Kel'Thuzad and a Taunt minion out, Drakkisath will NOT attack the taunt minion for any reason. Drakkisath will still use Kidnappers and Flamestrikes on Taunt minions, so be sure to get more than 1 Taunt minion out quickly! Keeping Kel alive is the priority, as well as defeating Drakkisath before he uses Twisting Nether.
However, Drakkisath has a few ways to kill Kel'Thuzad, so the goal of this deck is to get Kel'Thuzad out and keep Kel stealthed to protect him. Use your other minions to hit face and win while Drakkisath does nothing.
Beware, this deck is very dependent on Drakkisath's first turn. Ideally you will play Kel on the first turn, but if Drakkisath immediately destroys him, it's game over. Simply restart and try again. Once you get Kel stealthed with Master of Disguise, Drakkisath cannot use his "destroy a minion - gain 10 armor" spell on Kel. You have to still be wary of double Flamestrike and Twisting Nether.
To limit the risk of Flamestrike, swapping in a couple Earthen Ring Farseers might be a good idea to heal Kel after a single Flamestrike. There is no way to avoid Twisting Nether with this deck. You just have to get lucky and hope Drakkisath doesn't draw it. One thing I've noticed and a couple other people have mentioned - if Drakkisath has a board full of his own minions, he won't use Twisting Nether (or use it much less often).
Be careful when using Conceal. Use if BEFORE attacking with your Taunt minions so they lose Stealth on Drakkisath's turn.
Also, you can replace many of the cards in this deck. Sylvanas gives an insane amount of value, but once you get a stealthed Kel + Taunt, you don't *need* anything else to win. So use your good legends if you have them, but Kel and the stealth cards are the only essentials in this deck. Alexstrasza is very useful if you have her.

Changelog:
Swapped Loatheb for a Core Hound after being notified that Loatheb's Battlecry has no effect. Drakkisath's hero power overrides it. All cards cost 1, and not a thing can change that.
it seems like this heroic boss really A LOT on your opening hand and luck afterwards
Even with an adapted deck, it feels like in only a little amount of scenarios there is a chance for winning.. This isn't so fun, it is not challenging on deck building and strategy, just raw luck
Plus anytime he drops kidnapper, you know it is over for you, the momentum switch instantly
arrrrrggggg! SO.... NOT.... FUN....
Yea this is not working for me :(. I got this combo 2 times and he used Twisting Nether both times to kill all my minions and I lost. I can't do enough damage to him before he uses that card.
This fucking encounter is the most unfun shit that blizzard pooed in a long time
I feel the same way
so why vanish when the goal is to stealth kel
Almost the exact same thing happened to me. But Belcher ate removal, so i was sitting behind a 1/2 slime praying that the AI hadn't been fixed.
Just won Drakissath with Kel Thuzad shaman deck. AI doesn't attack taunts when KT on the board.
Turn 1 KT
Turn 2 Reincarnate/ ancestral spirit/ faceless /taunt
And just go to the face. Won on the 1st try.
And that's my deck

This took forever, but not as long as I spent trying to do a Shaman Kel + Reincarnate combo. Thanks.
Wow. Took awhile, but it finally worked. Subbed out saps and assassinates for some heal to counter flamestrikes if he does it on separate turns. They wernt doing anything for me, and if you spend a turn killing one creature you probably lose. Also, based the deck entirely around the combo, since you're not gonna win any other way, then pray to avoid twisting nether. Best lead IMO is blecher (to eat his removal and still have a taunt) into KT into master of disguise.
Okay, so I've managed to get Kel out early several times, so far...
1) Immediate twisting nether
2) After 2 turns plays double flamestrike.
3) Turn 1 KT into turn 1 "destroy a minion gain 10 armor"
4) Turn 3 KT>Force Tank Max into Kidnapper, force it back to hand
5) Get out KT, stealthed, with a taunt minion, he plays Kidnapper to return the taunt minion to my hand.
6) Turn 1 KT, immediate 'destroy minion gain 10 armor'.
7) Turn 1 KT, turn 2 sunwalker into a Drakkasath bullshit kill a minion gain 10 armor.
8) Turn 1 KT, fills the board then kidnappers my only taunt minion to end the game.
9) KT with stealth and TWO taunt minions, Destroys one taunt, kidnappers the other.
Keep in mind these are JUST THE GAMES I'm able to play KT, each one represents about a dozen restarts because my opening hand didn't have KT. I don't know HOW any of you are getting this to work but it seems really unlikely to me that I'll ever get more than 3 turns with KT out, let alone enough to kill the guy through 70+ HP.
UPDATE
10) FLamestrike kills booty bay bodyguard, hits face with 7 ridiculously huge minions.
I've stopped bothering to keep track, but I'm at over 15 'get KT out turn 1' and not even CLOSE to a win so far.
Doesn't work for me, if I play KT, he plays twisting nether within a few turns without fail
I don't see the point in a deck focusing on stealthing KT here when he has plenty of Flamestrike and Twisting Nether
I have yet to see a deck on here that can deal with this heroic fight without abusing the KT exploit at least somewhat... Guess you just have to get super lucky otherwise. RNG party, I guess!
This is the first time I've felt legitimately bad for killing something in a video game for a long time... And this is a fucking card game.
If you dont have as many ledgendary's as it takes for the other decks then this deck is the way to go. After you get out Kel'Thuzad turn 1 and then Master of Disguise next turn. you win very easily after that unless shit goes wrong somehow. The thing to remember is whatever dies first is spawned first by Kel'Thuzard so keep that in mind and kill off the best minions first so your board wont fill up on Slime from Sludge Belcher. I got to 6 health until i stabilized his board, he doesnt have any direct damage he uses on your hero, at least not when i did it lol
Thanks for sharing this deck
He's guaranteed to have removal in his hand if you SOMEHOW manage to pull off this combo
The stealth was a great idea.
PIECE OF CRAP DECK.
