I have not played with an "Enhancement" style Shaman since the Dragons expansion, but I wanted to give it another go.  I am working out the kinks in it, since the top decks in Wild are either combo or aggro, finding something to contend with either of them is something of a trial.

That being said, I was looking at a way to utilize your hero as the weapon, and the stuff on the board as more of a nuisance for your opponent.  Horn of the Windlord has proven to be a pain in neck for Standard players with Paladin, but not a lot from Shaman... so instead of Doomhammer, I think that it is a viable card to play.

I've been debating doing something along the lines of switching out some cards for an evolution kick in hopes to take advantage of thinks that summon multiple minions like Deathmatch Pavilion, Pit Master, Serpentshrine Portal, and Wildpaw Cavern.  Maybe a couple of Evolve or bogstrock clacker.  But without more support, its flavor

I've also wondered about including a Zentimo flare and put some other targeted spells like Lightning Bolt or even Hex.  Since using him is typically a one turn thing, swapping out Vessina for him shouldn't be too impactful.

Speaking of Vessina, she's never been used much in competitive play. Because she's a major target, requires you to have overloaded mana crystals, and a decent board presence... she is cumbersome.  So I may just pull her anyway.

For my sideboard with ETC, the easiest picks so far are:

Smothering Starfish since silencing the board is typically going to be an easy way to go face,

Kobold Stickyfinger because Kingsbane is still REALLY prominent

and of course Theotar, the Mad Duke hoping to yank a piece of their combo before it goes off

I like the idea of not really fitting this into a typical deck, and want to maintain the focus of the hero being the weapon and the minions/spells are there for support.  When Dragons came out, I ran a a similar build that got me to 5 Diamond easy...I hope to get something fun and similar going again.

Already an update:  I did push in a Zentimo package and I have had a lot of fun against control decks with the burst damage.  Here are the substitutions I made:

Tunnel Trogg ---> Lightning Bolt

Serpentshrine Portal ---> Frostbite

Vessina ---> Zentimo

Speaker Gidra ---> Mojomaster Zihi

With Zentimo's ability, I was able to hit a Stormstrike on my own Pit Master and it's Duelists, hit my hero with Rockbiter Weapon with my Horn of the Windlord and swung for 30 damage to the face.  Great burst.  I put Mojomaster Zihi in because those ramping decks along with control decks getting reset back to 5 mana is helpful to keep my tempo going and hinders what they can do.
