Hey everyone, I'm Gatormatthew. I finish top 500 on NA every month, and I make educational Hearthstone content. Today's guide is on Pure Paladin. I believe this is the single best deck in the game to play right now, especially outside of legend. Below, I have a quick guide + a 20-minute video where I play a few games with the deck and explain my choices. If you enjoy the guide, feel free to drop an upvote. It helps a lot with guide visibility and will push me to make more guides like this. Enjoy, and good luck in your games :)
Quick Guide: Keep Aldor Attendant,First Day of School, and Shotbot in your opening hand no matter what.Goody Two-Shields and Lightforged Zealot should be kept into slower enemy decks. Keep Libram of Wisdom with Aldor Attendant and always keep it into Warrior.
In terms of a general gameplan, this is the most simple deck out there. You play your minions, your minions tend to have more stats than theirs, you kill their minions, and you hit them in the face with your minions. The deck actually has quite a lot of reach with cards like Hammer of the Naaru and Lightforged Zealot. Versus aggro decks, you just want to survive until you can play Libram of Hope.
None of the legendaries in this deck are required, yes, even Lady Liadrin is replaceable. With any legendary you are missing, just add in good paladin cards to replace them. To replaceLady Liadrin, add another Hammer of the Naaru. To replace Murgur Murgurgle, add Argent Braggart. And finally, to replace High Abbess Alura, add Carousel Gryphon.
