If time permits one day I really want to make a video on how this deck works. Even with Darkmoon coming, I think this deck will continue to be viable as I'll be tinkering with replacements/additions.
Kitchen Sink Shaman
I call this deck Kitchen Sink Shaman because if you look through the decklist, you'll see there's just about everything in there that Shaman currently sorta has going for it
- Quest
- Highlander
- Dragons
- Galakrond
- Battlecries
- Big Spells
I've hit legend three out of four months and it's a blast. I only missed October and that's because it took me a while to figure out how to fight the more aggro meta. Originally had cards like Pen Flinger, Diligent Notetaker, and Primordial studies, but had to ditch them since Hunters and Demon Hunters absolutely destroyed them as opening plays.
Made a few minor updates
No Tour Guide? He's amazing with Dragonqueen.
How do you beat Paladin without Devolving Missiles / Diligent Notetaker?
Tour Guide ends up being edged out by Frizz ( both cards allow Dragonqueen to trigger twice )
Paladins on the other hand are a 50/50 situation. Deck has a TON of spell generation amplified by the quest. If you land cards that transform or silence, it's a win. ( and there are plenty of them, plague, hex, devolving missiles, 1-mana silence ). Plus 2 Zephrys's allows two hexes if you play your cards right.
If your luck is bad with the spell generation...yeah.....lights out against a paladin.
As time permits, I'm going to come back and update this deck. If you're like me and love playing the underdog shaman role, would be curious to hear revisions people would propose.
