Hi guys, long time HS player that always goes for legend with self made decks. Since the introduction of DH to HS i haven't played a lot since the class felt so OP there wasn't any wiggle room to try out inferior decks and improve them.
Had a lot of succes lately (12-3) with HL Quest shaman, i used to always struggle with this because i always cut out the spell pack, but i think spells are very strong for shaman right now, quest and minions alone isn't enough to control the board.

Gameplan
Survive untill you thrive, there is enough value in there, there is no clear win condition so you are going to have to get creative. If you play against other slow control matchups save your coin. Dragonqueen Alexstrasza with the coin allows you to play it with the new quest hero power.
Swampqueen Hagatha Is also a insane strong combo. You can create 2 horrors that have huge damage potential. If you either find a Lava Burst Lightning Bolt Bloodlust Serpentshine Portal Rockbiter Weapon you can play that card with the hero power to play 6-20 damage from your hand easily.
I will go further into detail about the synergy's of other cards, just know that this deck has amazing highroll potential and can give you a lot of fun out of the box options with Brightwing and Bandersmosh

I am trying many cards in my quest highlander deck, and I have a little bit different approach. This is a quest deck so the top priority is to complete it ASAP and generate a lot of value from all kind of battlecries.
I have only 3 spells in my deck, 1 weapon and the rest are all minions with battlecries except Walking Fountain.
I also do not use some of your minions, because they are not so good or just bad. Questing Explorer is bad especially when quest is completed. Big Ol'Whelp not so good as you do not need so much card draw especially when quest is completed. Nithogg is too slow, and only usefull if you already dominate board. Evil Totem most of the time will only give you 1 Lackey because it is almost always killed first.
