Sick of the current meta? Like giant swing turns and making your opponent think "WTF?" This might just be the paladin deck you're looking for.

Holy Pally is exactly what it sounds like. A Paladin that can afford to sacrifice early and mid-game board control for huge late game minions and heals. The deck burns through cards pretty easily, and as a result, i've included a small Shirvallah OTK package. When you get your draws off though, the game is over pretty quickly.

Best thing about the deck? It's completely expansion proof. Every card in the deck is from either the Classic set or Year of the Raven and up. No KnC, Un'Goro, or KotFT. It currently has a 58% winrate out of around 400 games, with the majority of the losses to Hero cards and other staples that are rotating out next month. I'm currently playing this deck at Rank 3 on Ladder and having moderate amounts of success there. There really is no good answer for having 60+ health & armor, with 3 Shirvallah's on board, ready to pounce.

At first it might seem "meme"-y, but once you get the hang of piloting it around, you quickly realize how powerful it is.

*** Updates ***

Made a few card choice changes to increase card draw, and reclassified the deck from Spell Paladin to OTK.

The first change was swapping both Holy Light for 1 Novice Engineer and Bloodmage Thalnos. Holy Light was prolonging games good enough, and it works great when you have your Spirit of the Tiger on the board, and Sword of Justice equipped. However, without either helping to generate a board presence, things could feel pretty hopeless .Novice Engineer, synergizes well with your weapon, draws a card, and has a tendency to stick around if it's buffed. Bloodmage Thalnos has the added benefit of buffing both Consecration and Avenging Wrath.

I removed 1 Spirit of the Tiger and replaced it with Faceless Manipulator. Having two Loa in the deck was good at first, but at 4-mana, it's hard to use this card in a proactive way. In games that reach 10 turns, it's great generating multiple 4, 6, and 8-attack Tigers but for the early game it's not really that good unless you have The Coin on Turn-3, with Blessing of Kings on Turn-4.

With that said, you haven't seen a REAL swing turn until you've played a 0-cost Shirvallah, the Tiger with Crystalsmith Kangor still on board, into Blessing of Kings, and Faceless Manipulator, all while your weapon is equipped.

Finally, I removed Crystallizer, Sound the Bells!, and 1 Zandalari Templar and swapped them with Ironbeak Owl, Acolyte of Pain, and an extra Crystology. With High Priest Thekal already in tow, this card is pretty redundant, and rendered useless if you've already converted your health to armor. It was great for keeping the board under control for the first two or 3 turns but ultimately, a deck like this can afford to cut that card.

Ironbeak Owl provides loads more utility by neutering enemy threats or large taunts that are keeping you from going face. The extra Crystology is for the 2 extra 1-attack minions we added, and helps you cycle through your deck faster, increasing the value of cards you draw in the late game. Acolyte is included for obvious reasons. The faster you can cycle through your deck, the faster you can get your combo pieces to finish the game. Buff this card at your own risk. In this Zoo-friendly meta, it's easy for your opponents to make you burn cards galore. Otherwise, only buff it to clear a minion that will kill it also.
