Check out this video for Insight on How to play the deck!
Hey guys! Before anything, I would like you to remember to +1 the post if you liked it. It helps me quite a bit.
KiwiiNbacon here. For those who don't know me, I'm a multiple time legendary player on the NA server. I also do deck showcase videos on youtube once in a while.
This deck is a bit weird but super satisfying to play with. The goal is to overwhelm your opponent either by abusing the strength of the spellstone early in the game or by generating a ton of value from Deathstalker Rexxar hero power. This deck is quite strong againt midrange and control decks but has difficulty against combo and aggro decks.
I personally managed to climb to rank 2 with this and so far it has been more than satisfying.
Mulligan
without coin: You will be looking for Candleshot Explosive Trap and Wandering Monster against aggro as well as Freezing Trap, and Hunter's Mark against control decks.
With coin: You can also add Eaglehorn Bow, Deadly Shot and Animal Companion to your arsenal. If you are playing against control, you should also keep Deathstalker Rexxar.
Interchangeable cards
Are you wondering why this deck is running Crushing Walls ? Do you only have one copy of To My Side! or perhaps would like to replace your missingRhok'delar?
you can always add another Deadly Shot or perhaps an Unleash the Hounds, that would always be a good start. Grievous Bite can be a pretty interesting tech against paladins and if you see to many mirror matches or perhaps even tempo mages you could consider adding a Flare to the deck. If you see a bunch more tempo or midrange decks, you should definitely add the other Eaglehorn Bow to the deck. Finally Wing Blast is always welcome to take a spot in this deck if you are missing anything, it does give a good turn when played for one!!
Card Choices
Candleshot: Early game paladin removal tool :P it is very effective against aggro and can give ridiculous results when paired with Hunter's Mark
Hunter's Mark: big target removal, excellent with Candleshot
Tracking: Ever been in a spot where you can't seem to find what you need?
Explosive Trap: Cause paladins exist unfortunately.
Freezing Trap: Warlock's bane
Flare: Mirror Winner!
Snake Trap: SNEK!
Wandering Monster: Pretty flipping good at keeping you alive or popping out a overstatted minion for the cost "sometimes".
Animal Companion: Misha is a gud Bear.
Deadly Shot: Boom headshot (get rekt Even lock)
Eaglehorn Bow: early game board control tool.
Kill Command: Always need a bit of extra damage.
Unleash the Hounds: Borf!
Flanking Strike: probably one of the best hunter card, it can flip the board around by itself!
Lesser Emerald Spellstone: Win condition/ board filler, Can't go wrong.
Deathstalker Rexxar: Win condition against control decks, also pretty sick board removal. Also it happens to be that now we have a lot of lifesteal options so survival is awesome with this card.
To My Side!: 2 Piggies for the price of one!
Crushing Walls Priest, warlocks and control druids beware!
Rhok'delar: it refills your hand, can literally win you the game by itself.
Match-ups
seems like we have to wait a couple of days before I can put any interesting data in here.
Thanks for all the support, I hope you enjoy the deck!

I use Wing Blast instead of Unleash the Hounds and a copy of Snake Trap and I personally think it works better. Just a suggestion though.
sure I guess that works too :D I also have heard that flare is working well now since so many ppl are playing hunter!
Nice deck. My first Legend!
Glad it worked out!!
Sorry to say this but this version of spellhunter seems not very good. only 1 eaglehorn bow although you play so much secrets and only 1 unleash the hounds? also rat trap is pretty bad. Crushing walls and snake trap are also not worth in my opinion. Anyway it doesnt matter as you win most of the games with the spellstone ,your DK or the good old double kill command to face
This deck is a lot of fun. I've been hovering between rank 9 and 8. I like that as I am playing there's some thought as to what's the best play. Sometimes with certain decks I find it is pretty straight forward but there are instances here where you are making choices.... for example which card to take from tracking, the beasts you create for your hero power, when and what order to play secrets. How to empty hand to maximize rock dealer.
I find it pretty useful. Expensive since sometimes I use it to just destroy a single minion but hey not a bad way to clear a lich king.
Its not useful. As the only decks where it's good are decks that play big minions and there are not that many at the moment. It may be viable tech choice against recruit-warrior. Even-warlock is dead at turn 6 as you just have to hero power+ kill command and also useless if they play their giants or drake at turn 3-4. I would replace it with deadly shot. but the deck already plays one copy so i would replace it with another eagelhorn bow
Well this deck has taken me from rank 9 to 5 so I am pretty happy. When I end up with that card in my hand I don't remember being disappointed. The games that I have lost a lot has gone wrong and typically it is a loss of board control.
i changed forFlare. Very good against mirror matches.
vs paladins or other classes that play a large number of cards per turn yes. You spend 2 mana and end up with a 6/6 minion on the board.
its not very useful against paladins as they just spam their hero power and you get the 6/6 most of the time very late in the game or not at all. Either they ignore the rat and rush you down or just trade it and flood the board again. I would replace rat trap with unleash the hounds as it gives you more control against paladin and its also a better card against control decks as it can give you the few dmg points for leathal or a beast for kill command. It also a better card against shamans.
flare is great actually I will update this :P
useless vs
locks
q warr
taunt druids
I am still losing to cube locks due to the endless wave of taunts + lifesteal from their hero power =/ any suggestions?
Rhok'delar is a good card, but not crucial. What it does is give you enough "gas" to play into the late game, when your hand is not playable. Though, if you can craft it, definitely do, this card will improve your win chance quite a bit.
To My Side! is crucial, it can be the finishing move, the combo punch with Animal Companion [/card] or [card] Unleash The Hound
Crushing Walls is also optional, good card but situational, You can run another Deadly Shot instead if you're short on dust.
queue in with spell hunter, get matched vs 5 control decks in a row
What would you say about rat trap? Is it useful for you?
I dont have a rat trap. Is it necessary?
it's not necessary but it definitely helps a ton, it's quite versatile.
