This expansion brought some interesting cards for the mill druid, making it able to win against both aggro and control decks. The first version after the update got 4-2, while the new one is currently 10-0. While this games were made from r25 to r20, this deck faced quite a wide variety of constructed decks. I will continue to push for higher ranks and keep this page updated.

+ 10 up-votes: more possible card replacements, different ways to play this deck

+ 25 up-votes: general game plan, mulligan, useful combos

+ 50 up-votes: detailed match-up description for different decks

+100 up-votes: video maybe?

A few words about aggro: A lot of aggro decks you will encounter have a lot of draw on their own. You won't get to the stage of milling them, but if you can manage the removal well, you will be able to get rid of all their cards. Usually, because this deck has quite some removal and armor gain, it won't be a problem. The only thing is to never concede, most situations are winnable even if they don't seem so.

A few words about other decks: You will find that you will reach the end of your deck at a similar rate with your opponent. This is where Jade Idol comes into play. Don't use it until you are out of cards. Usually you will still have a few mill cards at that point, but if you find yourself out of resources a lot of times try -2x Spreading Plague +2x Baleful Banker With the addition of 2xBaleful Banker, this is no longer a problem, even against Skulking Geist.

Cards that might be useful: Starfall for cleanup after Poison Seeds and Dancing Swords for more mill, but I can't really find a place for them. Maybe -1 Swipe +1 Starfall, but it kinda reduces the consistency of the early removal and late game combos.

PS: Explosive Sheep doesn't clear the Treant after Poison Seeds, but is still a great card in the deck.

UPDATE:

-1xMulch +1xFlobbidinous Floop - this card has a lot of potential, can be used as most of the available minions.

-2xFerocious Howl +2xBaleful Banker - a lot more mill potential, works with taunts/sheep in extreme cases. If you need armor really bad (a lot of aggro for example) replace Flobbidinous Floop with 1xFerocious Howl

Proof of current deck: (now 24-2)
