I’ve been having EXTREME success with this on ladder. If this gets at least 20+ upvotes I’ll make a mulligan guide. If it reaches 50 I will write a full guide!!!
ENJOY!
Wow! I didn’t expect so much support so fast for my first deck! Thank you! As promised, here is
the mulligan guide:
As always with new expansions (and especially new rotations) you never know what you’re about to face until the Meta cools down, but for now we can make our best judgement calls to try and thwart any threats coming our way.
Safe bets are always Northshire Clerics, and Shadow Ascendants, they can provide a good amount of card draw/board presence against most control decks.
VS Control
when I’m facing what I think may be a control deck (usually Warlocks and Shamans at the moment, sometimes Mages if you find yourself facing Tempo Mages) I will try to mulligan for Chameleos. Knowing what is in your opponent’s hand at all times is a HUGE advantage. For example, knowing the shaman you’re against has Shutterwok in his hand, you’ll know that once he plays the other pieces of the OTK he is GOING to play the shutter next turn (bad example, but you get the idea lol)
VS Aggro
When facing aggro I mulligan everything but Northshire to try to find a Duskbreaker Dragon. Use them wisely, you don’t have a lot of wide removal in this version, but it still keeps up well against aggro.
cards you DO NOT want in your opening hand: (anything that is wonderfully effected by Lady in White) such as: Quartz Elemental and Unpowered also you don’t want anything typically above 4 mana in your opening hand.
remember, 50+ upvotes I’ll make a full guide, and perhaps even a video tutorial. I’ll post any updates or good substitutions that I find when I find them :) Thank you again for your support!
FULL GUIDE COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE! (SEE DECK HIGHLIGHTS BELOW)
DECK HIGHLIGHTS:
Kiwiinbacon
Below is KiwiinBacon's Spiteful Lady deck highlight, he provides awesome insight to how I play this deck, when to clear the board, when to play taunts, and when to play your finishers. I highly recommend watching his video below!
There are also 3 other videos in the comments that give wonderful insight as well! go check those out, Thank you again for all of the comments and feedback and constructive criticism!
Replacements and alternate versions coming soon!
(The comments section is providing AMAZING suggestions for the above!)
Also if you have comments such as: "This deck is trash" please at least provide an explanation of what you would change about it. Thank you.
How far can this deck get me? Any one tried this deck in top 5 or legends?
Thanks
The four high cost spells are a staple of this deck, so it's best not to remove them.
So... I replacement 2 quartz element for 1 acidic swamp ooze and 1 spellbreaker
1 unpowered steambot 1 tar creep 1 chamaleos 1 stonehill defender and win more with it
Enjoying the deck so far. Replaced Quartz Elemental with Spellbreaker and Chameleos / Unpowered Steambot with Chief Inspector. Just felt awkward trying to keep Quartz healthy so he can be of any use and I seem to run into a lot of Mages and Locks, so having the Silence/ Secret destruction is nice. Chief inspectors also benefit from Lady in White so thats a bonus as well. All in All a very satisfying deck to play and win with.
Lady in White is the new Barnes. hard mulligan for her for #winning.
I can't seem to make this deck work. Maybe I suck, but I can't seem to keep up.
i suggest you play 30 games before you come to a conclusion. if you still think the deck sucks after 30 games, then i think its not the matchups and its prob just you as a player.
I think it's OK since your win conditions are both Lady in White and Spiteful Summoner.
Its like big priest... it was also a gamble deck. That's no different to Lady in white. Also: not every deck need to be 100% OP and Meta to be fun and interesting to play.
This deck gets rekt hard by Baku Hunter.
Git gud.
I played four games with this deck and went 3-1. You must be doing something wrong.
-1 Unpowered Steambot +1 Mossy Horror if you want to survive against rogue, pally, etc.
This deck is useless against rogues
I totally agree. That card doesn't seem to make an impact (at spitefull decks).
Besides, this deck seems to work better without her.
i think lady in white still good for inner fire combo
This deck is not viable, the legendary isn't either.
I like it. Modified it a bit though.
The Quartz Elemental and the Unpowered Steambot are a bit greedy. They don't add any real value without the Lady in White coming out early, and the Quartz in particular just doesn't work outside of an Elemental buff deck. The Swift Messenger is a no-go as well, because while it's nice as a 6/6, as a 2/6 or a 6/2, it just doesn't work timing-wise.
So, scratch those, add in Coffin Crasher x2 and Obsidian Statue x2. The Coffin will often bring out the Statue or a Tortollan, either of which is good.
And because Shadow Ascendent doesn't have a good stat line, drop one of them and, for sheer hilarious fun times, add in Lorewalker Cho. The thing about Cho is that he causes people to misplay hard, so he's fun even as a 0/4. But if you get out Lady in White, then a 2 mana 4/4 that causes people to screw up late game is just goddamn hilarious. Killing people with a late drop Cho is the best feeling you will ever have from this game. :)
