A kind of fun big deathrattle recruit hunter, that happens to be pretty good.
The big cards are highmane, bowman, Kathrena and N'Zoth, and maybe Violet Wurm. Summary: cheat out big beasts early, get a discount on bowman, and then fill the board with huge 6/6 minions, and N'Zoth for another go. Stall out earlygame to about 4-6 when you can start getting scary.
Earlygame cards are mainly there to not die, but you can cheat out a few wins with a lucky emerald spellstone. This does mess with bowman, but the benefits from it are simply too huge to ignore, especially since all the secrets stall well too, and it's not like highmane's hyenas and Wurm's worms don't mess him up already, but at least he is a big deathrattle minion for N'zoth.
Basically, getting a higmane out, on 6, or early Corpse widow gives you fuel for bowman, so a 6/7 wtih deathrattle summon a 6/5 is already pretty good. The widow and highmane also are great with kathrena, as she's then two big bodies with a nice effect, and another if she dies, but you normally win before that.
Keep the pressure up on them, N'Zoth is fine to play and get about 2-3 rezzed minions since they're so huge.
Stitched trackers are great to dig with, getting all those extra kathrenas, or just to smooth out your curve.
Oh and hunter's mark -> candleshot is preeeety goood removal.
Seems pretty good against most meta decks too, preists and paladins seem to get smushed, and gone 50/50 in the few games I've played against Jade Druid. And there was a control paladin with a dirty rat that didn't work out so well. Again, keep the pressure up on them, keep as many minions on the board as possible without overextending, and you should be fine, keeping them on the defense lets you snowball.
Yeah, so a +1 would be great, this decks pretty fun, stick any questions/comments down below and I'll try and get back to you
thanks, one guy on my friend list told me he hit legend with recruit hunter as an off meta deck nobody expected, i didnt have the list he ran, might ask though.
nice deck, what max rank you reached with it?
The highest I ranked purely running this was 15. It's a pretty fun deck to grind early ranks with, but it slows down later on. I found it doesn't have enough tools to cope with spiteful priest's huge minions, and warlock's copious amounts of taunts counters having a few large minions extremely well. Win/loss pretty much devolves into draw highroll. I just rode an 80% win rate spiteful priest to rank 10, so maybe I'll try it out at that floor. Anyway, I have found this deck fun, but I wouldn't craft much to build it. Especially with the new expansion coming up.
