Wouldn't be a bad idea I guess, in Zoo you usually already have something on the board, so you can probably easily deal with a 1 mana minion!
anyone else hear pit lord crying?
I think the drawback can be much more severe than people tend to think. Not only does your opponent get a one drop that will usually have 2 attack and some extra deathrattle effect, but he will get to attack with it first. Even though you get +1/+1 compared to what you can expect for a 4 drop, your opponent will get +2/+1 most of the time, meaning you are generally behind by one statpoint compared to just playing a Yeti/Tallstrider.
A 2 mana board clear is quite OP.
Synergy with Mind Control Tech?
If you don't mind the chance to steal a one-drop... and even then, you're still getting something out of it.
This was my thought when I first saw the card. Now it would be turn 7 to do this but still play the Dragon and still something else from the opponent. Could be the new 1 drop could be something else. I'd take the chance.
Amazing card, the new 4 mana core for all decks i imagine, druids esp are gonna have a field day
Very nice card. It's not as strong as seems to be - basically it'll be usually 5/4, but opponent can get flame imp or dust devil and it's 5/3 for 4 mana. Don't forget about deathrattle of leper gnome or clockwork gnome. But anyway, it's pretty nice because of mct or cabal combo. ;)
Seems a bit OP for me....imagine it in a Druid Deck...Innervate Turn 2... that's really powerful
Think about turn 3 Raging Worgen, then turn 4 Hungry Dragon. Dragon on average summons something with 1-2 attack, you clear it with Worgen, get the Enrage, then hit the opponent for 4 or trade up. Just an idea.
Flame Imp get - other than that good combo.
I predict within first week this card will be released, there will be video with someone saved by summoning Zombie Chow with Hungry Dragon.
=)
About on par with Piloted Shredder in Arena — which is to say, one of the best commons in any class. What's the worst that could happen? Dust Devil or Flame Imp? Those cards don't scare me, I have a 5/6!
This sounds great if you already have a 3drop or 2 drop and you're already ahead, since you're just attacking a 1 drop instead of face
How can you even deal with a 5/6 on turn 3~4 in arena? This card seriously should be at least rare...
In constructed this will see a lot of use, probably mostly in druids/priests
Its wording is very vague couldn't it also summon Boom Bot ?
Minion-summoning effects like these have always been for Collectible cards only, so no.
Sick combos with Hungry Dragon + Cabal Shadow Priest 3 minions for the price of 2!
Why would it be bad? They now need to deal with 3 sources of damage versus one. Two which btw have over 5 health which makes them very hard to clear without burning a bunch of cards. And (In an ideal world) if you happened to be playing against a druid with Savage Roar and you stole it with Thoughtsteal on turn you would have 14-15 dmg showing next turn depending on the card.
Oh the possibilities. Of course there is an element of randomness but it makes Cabal Shadow Priest much better late game and makes the priest deck a lot stronger because you are guaranteed a minion if you want it.
Also you can't play Sneed's and Sylvannas on the same turn I think holds up to the argument you are proposing.
