It's way too oppressive anywhere. The card itself provides a stupid amount of burst, and the deck thinning allows you to draw bigger and bigger cards (Tarim, Unidentified Maul, etc.). The thing is, the deck thinning allows the paly to stop drawing bad 1-2 drops, and to curve into higher mana cards. This also makes Prince Liam not as good as it should be, as there are little to no 1 drops, because they have all been drawn out by CTA. The burst damage and board presence alone makes this a great card, but with the deck thinning on top this card is really oppressive.
This card is further proof the Hearthstone team has no idea what the fuck they are doing
This card single-handedly makes paladin the best class of the meta. Hopefully it will see a nerf to 5 mana in the near future. The supposed "downside" to aggro decks is that they are supposed to have low card draw, but you don't even need to draw cards when you can just throw them out of your deck.
Well, your wish came true. This nerf poses a big, BIG threat to Genn Paladin, and might offer Baku Paladin a new opportunity.
Whoever is in charge of designing cards at Team 5 needs to have a heart attack. I'm dead serious, who the fuck thought this was a good idea?! You're getting a shitload of value for just 4 mana, and if you pull a Knife Juggler you'll get even more! Either increase the mana cost, or nerf it to just be two minions, because this is fucking bullshit, especially in Arena.
I agree, death is the only acceptable punishment for making a bad balance decision in a card game.
Sadly, one of the few crazy cards keeping Paladin around the KnC meta. Is printing support for control pally or four horsemen too broken even when cards like Dirty Rat, which rotates out soon btw, exist to mess with your combo?
with this spell, you will draw 3 cards that costs 2 or less and summon them immediately. for *4* mana.
Excuse me but wtf
i like golden animation
Is there any chance of this card being nerfed? I just opened a golden copy and I'm really hoping for 1600 dust.
helo i come from the future and this is getting a nerf
This card is the perfect example why Hearthstone is pretty much random garbage nowadays, not saying this is good or anything but god that design is awful and the decks that use this card are 100% braindead relys on draw with absolutely no skill needed. It's such a shame...
up vote the fuck out of this please
Imagine if this was a shaman card and they could pull double Totem Golem and Millhouse Manastorm... oh god
*Just in case you haven't killed your opponent by turn 4.
This should cost 5 mana, it's just too good.
Again, we have a potentially broken card that massively favors playing small minions and will probably result in a lot of aggressive shit. Just compare it to Gather Your Party. The amount of tempo you get from this card is just insane. Even if you would get a crazy late game minion from Gather Your Party there is so much single minion removal that it almost does not matter. In wild it is even more insane with Shielded Minibot still being around.
godlike flavor text hahaha
As I can imagine, StrifeCro chose to give this card a 5/5 in his review. Strangely enough though, he said this has some potential in Control Paladin, because pulling 2 Dirty Rats without triggering the Battlecry, a 4/12 Taunt split between two minions, is totally fair.
whats the best outcome?
standard: doubleKnife Juggler + Dirty Rat? Mana Wraith + Lorewalker Cho
wild: doubleMechwarper + Shielded Minibot? Ship's Cannon + Bloodsail Raider
