its not a bad card, actually is a pretty good taunt, yet, why this is a legendary? Soggoth the Slitherer is not even that important of a character to begin with.
I have to agree with many of the opinions: if this card cost decent taunt card, but as it is it comes just a bit too late. And of course that is ignoring all the battlecries out there...
Seems like an amazing addition in a Y'shaarj deck, Definitly a little overpriced if played for the full cost although the properties of this card just makes Y'shaarj decks that much more viable. I'm definitly excited for this
Seems more fitting under an epic, not a legendary.
Looks like a fine card by all means, but 9 mana is just such a bad mana cost, make it 8 and we will see a lot more value, Drop this + hero power. i always feel awkward when i need to play a 9 mana card turn 10 seems like such a waste.
6/10 for 10 mana is fine 5/9 for 8 mana is also fine, but as it is right now it's in an extremely awkward spot.
Also this much be the lowest value per mana legendary to date. Just feels odd. However it will see a lot of play in controll decks and y'shaarj decks. And it will be annoying as hell to deal with.
I find this card really good in arena, but I can`t see it on constructed...
Ofc if its against dr Boom and Ysera u don't pick this. But what people are trying to say is that it is not a bad arena draft, and that people SHOULD pick it if it is some other legendaries..
Good card good for trading as it doesn't need that much attack but nothing remarkable
Finally, we see what this guy looked like while it was alive! :-D
Well the avatar was just like, a tiny faceless channeling its power or something, so not surprising.
Finally they create this card,i have been waiting for this for a long time, I was thinking of more in the line of no taunt and one or 2 more stats and not legendary though. I do however understand the low stats. The strength of a minion increases a lot more with stats if it is untargetable as there is more value to hard remove it than smaller minions. Instead of adding 2 stats per mana you add 1.5 stats on average when going above 2 mana.
Please don't give me this legendary
I raise you with
And as a Warlock
shroud not hexproof ... there is a difference.
i think hexproof should never be part of HS with so few neutral minions that can actually deal with shroud, only paladin seems to abuse them with 2 pair of extra minion converters.
Legendaries are not Efectiveness based, they are lore or design based (Sylvanas for example : Is a new concept, never before a deathrattle had the power to steal a minion) And lore based is for example King Krush, it has nothing new, but in the lore of cards it's a super monster.
If it had hexproof it would be decent.
Who uses deadly shot? And it's a legendary because if you have two of these out on the board at any point, you win. (Except against maybe face shaman, Kappa)
I'm sick of people saying “no immediate effect on the board” without knowing what they imply. Just because a card doesn't have battlecry: win the game doesn't mean it has no impact. Taunt is one of the most immediate effects in the game. You're putting up a barrier that your opponent now has to deal with. If this card had no taunt with battlecry: summon a specific taunt minion every one would say “oh wow such a good battlecry, look at that immediate effect”
