- Yogg's Battlecry effects all potential targets, including your own hero. (Source)
- Yogg is able to hit himself with the spells cast. If he dies during the Battlecry, it will still continue. (Source)

I, like many, love this card because it is fun. You can make hilarious decks around it and such, sure. However, and I could be wrong, but I think this is being underestimated for how good it can be competitively because of how it affects win rates in certain situations.
This is the exact opposite of a win-more card. Obviously, if you're far ahead, you just don't play it. Keep it buried away in your hand. This is a disadvantage obviously, having a hole in your hand, but if you're far ahead, you generally have enough cards anyway. If you're losing badly, you play this. Sure you could pyroblast yourself in the face but you were already losing. This doesn't make losing situations worse. Also, considering how many spells are only beneficial for you, it will help you more times than it will hurt you.
This leaves close games. In a close game, there's always that moment where, if you lose, you see that you've lost. You've lost tempo just enough or they drew the right card and you are going to lose next turn. They have lethal on board and there's nothing you can do. Not anymore. So basically the only time this is a bad card is when you are winning. Another problem I suppose, is if you really need to draw something specific to win, and draw him instead this is a disadvantage. However, he still could be THAT card.
I have a feeling that this small percentage of games lost because he is unusable in your hand will be far outmatched by the amount of times he wins a game for you you should have lost.
I really hope you are right cause I really like the design of this card
Sprint->Sprint->Doom->Astral Communion
Would be fun :)
but I do agree with you, if I don't get it in a pack i'm for sure going to craft one
this is going to be so much fun to play with a mage deck!
Haha this card is epic sick in my new Yogg'Sarogue deck. As I always say this guy will b my "nail in the coffin"
(pic of me nailing the coffin)
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End into Embrace the Shadow into Tree of Life gg ez.
After a lot of experimentation with this card in the simulator, I realized how amazing this card is. The special thing about this card is that it is AMAZINGLY OP when you have little to nothing on the board and your opponent has a lot. Even though Yogg will buff at least one of the minions, when you have no minions to be targeted, your opponent's minions get destroyed. This just needs to be played in decks that can survive without board control, but still make massive tempo swings (Mage or Priest). I think this card is amazing and I can't wait to see it in Hearthstone.
can you give a me a link for spell simulator or whatever sim you used please pretty please =D

There you go enjoy yourself.
thankss bruuhh
No -- even if he dies due to a spell the rest of them are still in the 'stack' so they continue casting. Its sort of like he cast them all at once, but you need to see them resolve for game purposes.
