This card is so strong right now (S20).
This card is very strong. It's almost like consecrate except you get a 4/3 body for 1 more mana.
Yeaaah... No. Consecration deals 2 damage to ALL enemies, including the enemy hero, This card only deals 2 damage to all UNDAMAGED MINIONS. So it's very situational and it's hard to get much value out of it, but when you do... It just makes your day.
So, how does this work against Grim Patron? Is it an automatic board fill or does the battlecry do it's job before everyone gets in there?
It will affect only the present state of the board.
Take the precedent of Goblin Blastmage not damaging minions spawned from Piloted Shredder after it kills them for example.
But that's a deathrattle, and I think I've seen Blastmage activate Patron's effect midway.
and bouncing blade has definatly hit newly gotten in there dwarves.
The difference being a blast mage does its damage in individual portions
EG: Hit (Patron spawn) Hit (Patron spawn)
This card will deal its damage all at once, therefore spawning only one patron (2 damage to the original patron and anything else currently on that board)
I can see putting one of these in a mill or control kind of rogue.
If I play this against a divine shielded minion it will deal 2 damage to it twice?
no.. why would you think that
A battlecry will check the board condition once before activating. The effect will activate against a minion with divine shield if that minion is undamaged. Although this results in removal of the shield without damaging the minion, no further battlecry checks occur that could result in a second trigger of the ability.

This card will definitely help the rogues against aggro, the one card they needed to push them up to a tier one class.

Truth be said, both classes are missing some good AoE cards :p
This card would've been so great as a 3-4 drop :(after all backstab costs 0 so this guy's eff could've come out for only 1 mana on a 3-cost body (for a total of 4)
It can't be played in paladin because it's a rogue card.
