Woohoo! Second card of the set that's going to be below a 5/10. I will say, I like Volcanomancy's design - it's undercosted, but with a difficult requirement that often requires another card, and is also conditionally good. This makes for an underpowered, but interesting tech card, and no doubt people will try to make it work with some random synergies in control or combo mages. Overall though, if you're not a johnny, run more solid cards like Fire Sale and Deep Breath.

I thought this was a Shaman card when I first saw it for some reason, may have been because of the name and card art. But yeah, as a Mage card, it doesn't look very strong. Like, just play Fire Sale if you need a 3 damage AOE, even if this is only 2 mana

The only time this might see play is if token aggro decks pop up and you use this to make them blow up their own board, but seeing as a lot of good Token Druid cards are rotating out, this might not see play in Standard

in a board heavy expension to come, more aoe removals is bliss...combine it with explosive sheep maybe for a 4 mana 5 aoe wipe...nice
