Well, that's clever.
Finally a fun brawl again, lot's of room for creativity
I played Sorcerer's Apprentice and Magic Trick and somehow won... my opponent was a rogue playing Deadly Poison and Cutting Class :P
This was kind of fun.
Soulfire + Hand of Gul'dan easy Brawl
Wretched Tiller + Devouring Swarm
A quick deck (looses to Patches ; Embiggen though):
The Soularium and Fist of Jaraxxus.
Elwynn Boar + Plague of Flames worked for me. Beats Pogo-Hoppers, but probably loses to Embiggen + Patches.
Shard of the Naaru
Patches the Pirate
Ice Block
Edit: I'm stupid. For the minion swarm, patches + embiggen is correct. For the minion removal, Devolve + Canal Slogger is better than Shard of the Naaru + whatever Priest has. The one-turn-too late immunity decks are beaten by Naturalise+Coldlight Oracle, which disposes of minion removal just as good.
Try this Wicked Shipment + Ritual of Doom turn 2 concede usually
If you get 3 wicked shipment by turn 2 :)
Tried Sigil of Silence and Kreen and somehow won - good against pogos and librams probably
Had fun with Psychic Conjurer and Shard of the Naaru.
Thank you for that. I love seeing dumbass pogo rogues concede when they play all of their pogos + shadowstep on turn 1 :D
Glorious! I got an Elwynn Boar / Animated Broomstick opponent and he swiftly conceded when he realised I was going to get my boars out quicker than him, and could silence his, besides!
How are you getting them out faster? You need to find one with the Conjurer every time and silencing does nothing until 7 have died and the deathrattle is active - and then every boar is active and can be rushed for the sword.
I believe it was someone that misunderstood how the deathrattle works.
I'd assume because these decks have zero card draw. So when the boar player draws several boars without a broomstick, he can't play them, because they won't have rush and you will silence them. If he draws several broomsticks in a row, then either he can play the excess broomsticks and has then a couple quite useless 1/1 rush minions, and risks having later boars without broomsticks on hand, or he keeps them on hand. At the same time, you can trade excess shards away to draw more conjurers, which bring a 1/1 body plus the boar or broomstick, and you can play the boar without worrying about silence.
The deathrattle on the boars work like Stalagg and Feugen. Silencing before completion does nothing and afterwards it only takes one rushed boar to get the sword, but I guess cycling allows for faster Conjurers.
Right, that's true. Thanks.
This is only the 2nd time we have gotten this specific Brawl. The first time was just a couple weeks after Hearthstone's first rotation, over 5 years ago. Would have been better if this was limited to standard. Instead we get the same cards like Patches dominating small constructed brawls time & time again.
