Core Set Has Been Released!
The new Core set has been revealed and we have taken great effort and put every new card in our database, ready for you to use.
Here's the Link to the Database for the Core Set where you will find every card from the new Core set.
Here's the Link to the Deckbuilder which now has a special tab with the Core Set. You can now create decks to your heart's content with the new Core set.
Below we have listed the new cards of the Core set as well as some notable changed cards. With 235 cards it is obviously too much to list everthing!
BONUS: User Hikarigami made an AWESOME graphic where you can see just which changes there have been and how the Core set was put together. Thanks for the amazing work!

Can anyone explain to me how exactly these will work? I understand that they'll be free for all players, but once it rotates out, will the cards become unavailable again? Will they be craftable for play in Wild?
The current basic and classic sets are rotating and the core set is introduced in their place. It is said to fully replace those, so I don't think it will ever rotate itself.
Once these cards rotate (and they may eventually do, since the core set was created with the intention to be tweaked every year), they will probably move to the legacy set and become craftable. Not even the developers are sure that they will take this approach, but there's still one whole year to think how it's gonna be made.
Alright, thanks!
When is the release date for these cards?
There's no official date, but from what people have datamined on the pre-orders, it's march 22-23.
all those changes/new cards seems good, but they need to remove Illucia and Animated Broomstick from standard, 1 mana turn everything i play into removal is just dumb (remember DrBoom Hero passive effect) and Illucia must be one of the most toxic cards that i've ever seen in a card game, more here in Hearthstone where you don't have disruption tools like in other games.
Oooh, 3 mana Equality. Looks like Baku pally is back in business big time.
Was it ever not in business?
He forgot Lord Barov & Libram of Justice are a thing.
I think this is how it works (about the the dust/disenchant factor):
Some people were telling me - as I had the same question as you - the core set will be changing every year from now on, and with that you will be borrowed all of those cards in the core set, until they are not in the core set anymore. So lets say you disenchant your Tirion before they borrow you a new one: you will have him only while hes in the core set. If hes not in the core set next year, you will also lose him in Wild. The same goes for all the other cards. So you should only disenchant cards IF YOU ONLY PLAY STANDARD, and will never play wild. If you like to play Wild - like me - DO NOT DISENCHANT ANY CARDS.
The question is, will these new cards be craftable?
For example if I want to craft new Alexstrasza, to have forever.
you will be able to craft them once they rotate... As far as we know
Something that I haven't understood yet:
1)they give all the new cards to players. What happens if they remove some of this cards from 2022 core set? Are they gonna disappear from my collection? Will they still be playable in wild? If they disappear and will be still playable in wild will they be available in classic packs or just craftable?
2) from what I understand, aspects will get duplicated, meaning that we can play a wild deck with both old and new Ysera, malygos and so on, right?
3) will we receive copy even of the cards we already own? Will they be impossible to disenchant? Has anyone come up with a dusting strategy already?
You're not being given the cards. You are being loaned the cards. The core set cards will be available for use but you never owned them.
The ones that you do own will still be usable after cards in the core set fall out of the core set.
Everything you do not have and is given to you, will be taken from you.
Everything you already have, you will have after.
Anything you dust will therefore be back, but you will lose it after.
And of course you can't disenchant anything.
If everyone has the same core set cards in his collection, he is definitely search tier 1 deck and play with it. I don't believe it is going to be fun in the near future.
And here is where your wrong. Most of these cards aren't meant to define a meta but rather the new expansions this year. You will never make a viable deck consisting of 60-70% core cards only, you need powerful variance.
Dragon Breeder Kappa ! Yes i know the card will rotate since its Descent of Dragons but you got the idea, Dragons can be copied too just like Beasts. And most of Beast copy cards are also rotating as well, the 3 mana 4/3 from Uldum. New expansion cards better be good with King Krush otherwise it will just be weaker than Alexstraza.
Wrarh and swipe are undisenchantable so why he could not play them in wild???
