If it makes it into some decklists (and I think it will), this card will be meta defining for sure
The card art depicts me when facing meta decks on casual, or Odd Paladin anywhere.
who the hell plays casual? just sit at a rank floor and meme
YOU SMELL LIKE A [INSULT NOT FOUND]
Not only is it looking like a great mech-warrior card but also for druids thanks to oaken summons.
The same Oaken Summons that rotates on April? Yeah, seems good for wild. And in standard will be the best anti-combo idea.
Oaken Summons gonna rotate...
Oh drat. I was certain it was from the Witchwood expansion. Ah well, we still have it for Anti combos as you said.
I can see why people are calling it an anti-combo card but i think it will shine against agro decks when combined with Mind Control Tech
The end is comiiiing!!!
C-C-C-C-C-C-C-COMBOOOO BREAKEEER..
or surrender at turn 4... :V
If someone plays this on curve, they deserve the loss.
Warriors can summon this multiple times throughout a match via Boom and Omega Assembly, increasing its chance to disrupt a combo. Combine that constant threat with the bomb archetype, and you have a very dangerous Warrior deck in the upcoming expansion.
For example, opponents will draw as quickly as possible to avoid getting their combo pieces summoned, but then doing that will lead them to getting bombed more quickly and possibly killing themselves.
Absolutely devastating. This will be a staple in mech/bomb warrior decks.
Turn 10+ after playing cards that have random results in a Baku-less format just doesn't scream "dangerous" to me.
But hey - at least Warrior players can run cards like this in their decks now and not have it considered trolling.
This is identical with Recruit mechanic, basically it could say "Recruit a minion for your opponent from his deck". Recruit removes the minion.
Dirty Rat Text was "Taunt Battlecry: Your opponent summons a random minion from their hand."
The Tag summon did not put a copy of a minion, but the minion itself.
Another considetaration is that the only "Recruit" that influenced your opponent is the Join the Fray"Join the Fray" of Whompwhisker
Instead we have other case of the Tag "Summon" that interact with the emeny or with the Deck like Nerubian Ambush! Interaction with Player 1 deck and player 2 board. and The example for The summon from the deck is the old Loved and Thated Patches the Pirate you did get Patches, not a copy of it. The idea that with the it summons a copy it's just nosense
Except that Recruit is a key word that is = to "Summon a minion from your deck " . so saying "Recruit a minion for your opponent from his deck" is incorect . It is correctly worded, but they could have just writen the same line as Deathlord to avoid confusion
Water does not scare me, well, kind of
Omega Devastator and Dr. Boom's Scheme are both at their best in a Control deck. Now we've got a great Mech for getting your opponent closer to fatigue. Snoozefest Warrior is looking better and better!
