This is Blizzards way of forcing everyone 1 to play standard. There is only going to be druid and rouge in wild now because of this stupid card. Every other deck will have to be Super Hyper Omega Fagro decks because this card kills any other kind of midrange or control/combo deck that won't B consistent or fast enough 2 compete with combo druid.
I don't think combo druid would neccessarily be your biggest worry. it has to reach turn 5 before it can potentially kill you, and that is not guaranteed at all, it could be as late as turn 12. With that in mind I present to you the idea of just straight up big druid. It runs all the cards in the combo for combo druid, but it also just runs a bunch of other giant minions. and it just plays them all very early. it just tries to overrun you with like 6 win conditions thrown in there for good measure. Why not make your deck be taunt druid, or maly druid, or whatever else you have in your collection that costs more that 6 druid. It is not so simple as just trying to kill you in uninteractive ways, it literally just has to play random cards it draws. This is beyond the stupidity that we could possibly imagine. Wild is now druidstone, and druidstone involves jamming giant minions down and hitting face because why not.
But other than the fact that the sheer terrror of druid not having to build coherent decks anymore not hitting you, you are spot on. And I feel your pain. Something in druid needs to get nerfed, and it is most of druid.
like nothing about druid is ok right now, and they are still printing cards that do things druids do. Why don't they print exclusively 1 drops for druid for a whole set. And not ones with any effects, just 1/3's like print 10 1/3s with different tribes and shit and then druid will still be good. Even after a nerf to like 5 of their cards they will still be good. druid is dumb.
I use to say back in GvG that Druid has the potential to do very nutty things and can do just about anything, and that kinda still holds true to this day
Oh this is definitely what the meta needed. Maybe we can give them a card for a ridiculous amount of armor gain too. Or three more.
Actually if you play Biology Project, your opponent has significantly more mana than 4
I, for one, welcome this card in the meta. After all, druids have spent the last year lacking any serious card draw tools and so have languished as the least playable class in standard...says nobody who has played more than a couple hours of ladder for the last year.

yeah, druid need not have coherence anymore, now is not the time for decks that make sense, now is the time for druid to spam random shit that costs 7+ that is not even good and win anyway. This isnt even close to comparable. Barnes ysaarj literally only worked if you drew one legendary and didn't draw the other which is a very low chance.
So if Innervate had not been nerfed already, then with 10 mana you could play Juicy Psychmelon + 2x Innervate + full combo in Wild Togwaggle Druid....
Well, you can still do it, just takes 2 additional Biology Projects.
you can run innervates now, and just keep the second bio project for this, or you can win the game in literally any other way because druid is stupid.
A card like this could have been more interesting in Hunter, giving Hunter actual card draw that doesn't fuel aggro decks. In Druid its just giving them another powerful tool for fetching a Malygos or other late game minions they can ramp or combo towards.
Except that would have been sensible and we can't have that.
IF (and thats a big if) they run dirty rat or have it in they're hand...
or even if the druid runs a combo and is not just playing giant things and winning the game off of whatever it is they draw, or running the combo and giant things. Maly druid now just runs like 3 win conditions or more. Druid in boomsday will run all the win conditions it can fit, and all the ramp, and like whatever card draw it wants, this or anything else.
