In the coming weeks, we’ll bring you a complete schedule of all the fun and games that will take place on the Blizzard booth during gamescom. You can find out more about the convention itself here.
This card is actually not bad. For a beastmaster hunter, a beast is a beast is a beast. There are far more useful beasts that can be drawn than useless (like captain's parrot) so this will deliver good value more often than not. Its a 1 mana card that basically cycles itself.
This card is OP, it's a better Novice Engineer that costs less
even then you've lost nothing (not even a card) but 1 mana while gaining a combo pc with kill command, buzzard, timberwolf, hyena, etc etc. even the worst case scenarios for this card are pretty good.
I think this would be a lot better if it couldn't get a captain's parrot...
I think this card is actually pretty cool. It does introduce another random element into the mix, but I think it will be fun to play with. I wouldn't have minded another weapon for hunters, but another 1 cast cost minion that is efficient is good for opening plays, or just getting a cheap extra draw off the buzzard.
Well, it's not broken, that's for sure. I kind off like the idea of a tutor on a stick.
My Pros - So it's a random beast out of 25 possible(I've disregarded tokens and spell generated beasts, such as power of the wild cat, hex frog etc). Out of those 25 possible there are 3 legendary -> The Beast, King Krush and King Mukla. Not mentioning high value beasts such as Savannah Highmane It also takes your deck size up from 30 cards to 32 cards.
My Cons - It's a random out of 25! This card is very unreliable. Leans toward the "fun" than the safe play factor. Although it does have that element of surprise. It also could be extremely rewarding or disastrous.
But we'll just have to see.
I think it's a fun addition.
Makes me wonder if the 4/4 Nerubian spawning from Nerubian Egg will be a beast as well?
Trash card considering that king crush isn't even that good
Core Hound is even worse. xD
But you could also get Savannah Highmane or an extra Starving Buzzard or any of the other nicer Beast cards, like Rhino or Hyena or Kodo.
There's value to be gotten for sure.
There's value but the rng just doesn't make it worth it. I don't even see this working that well in arena.
Welcome The Amazing Web Spinner!
What kind of a sick death rattle combo would this be at turn 10?
Drop Rivendare, Drop Tundra Rhino, Drop Webspinner, Charge into a minion and sacrifice the spinner, get two beasts in hand!!
Impossible to prevent, or silence any of the three minions, Tundra Rhino = 5, Rivendare = 4, Spinner = 1. If you saved the coin, you could drop 2 web spinners and sacrifice both for a whopping 4 beast cards into your hand!
Who needs "Handlock", give me "Hand Hunter".
It could be done over two turns as well. Turn 5 drop a relatively harmless Tundra Rhino. Hope it doesn't get killed. Turn 6, drop Rivendare and two spinners.
On turn 10 and beyond, what are you going to do with all the early game minions you draw in this way? Theres a MUCH larger chance you'll draw things like a Raptor or Boar with it then you would a Savanah Highmane or King Krush.

Things suddenly got a WHOLE lot more RNG. Free King Krush anyone or maybe a free Young Dragonhawk? :D
It's likely going to get the same type of disgust and love that Mind Vision/Thoughtsteal/Mindgames get. :D
This makes me think of a Novice Engineer with the cost and function of a Flare. I'll be interested to find out if this draws a card from your deck, or from a list of possible beasts/cards like Bane of Doom or Ysera.
The term "draw" let's me assume that it is going to be a beaat from your deck. It should neither include hounds nor animal companion. Both are considered spells.
Doubling down on the beast deck stereotype. Not what I expected, and frankly, slightly disappointing. Not that the card is bad in any way, I'd just expected more diversity to emerge with it.
Well, it was neither a secret nor a bow, like most people were expecting...
