Dean Ayala: No More Even & Odd Cards for Witchwood
Many players have been worried that there were going to be too many Even and Odd mechanic cards in the set and up until now, all we knew is that not every class would have them. Thanks to Dean for confirming to PC Gamer in an interview that everything we've seen now is it.
Quote from Dean AyalaAre there more even and odd cards we haven't seen?
There's just the four that we revealed in the video plus the two legendaries. That's the totality. We're going to have a lot of Echo and Rush stuff too, which I think are interesting mechanics.
Here are all the currently revealed cards which make use of the mechanics, starting with the most recent.

More Stat Tracking Isn't Needed
In the same interview with PC Gamer, Dean talks about Stat Tracking in China and why he doesn't think the core game needs it.
Quote from Dean AyalaWe have very minimal stat tracking now. We have your level, what your highest arena key is, total wins… and the reason we have that is because we think it's the right amount. It's super high level stuff and there aren't menus of pages tracking how much damage you do on Tuesdays. I think a lot of players do want more data, but I don't think it's necessary for a large majority of the player base. We take the UI very seriously on Hearthstone, where if we can choose not to add another pane then we don't. One of our UI designers always used the phrase "death by a thousand cuts," where you keep adding one more thing…
Reno decks were based on literally one initial Legendary and at its peak you could only put three cards that reference it directly in your deck. Even if odd/even won't take off from here, if it's a fun concept, I can see them printing more support in the 5 sets to come that will come out while Witchwood is in Standard.
That's...... actually kinda disappointing
"You think you want stat tracking, but you don't."
I hope they sneak in a few cards to make the weaker quests and/or the deathknights slightly better
I would've kinda hoped for at least 1 even/odd card per class. A bit sad that they don't go very in depth with these archetypes
I disagree. The enabler cards are there and a few support cards backing them up is ok, but beyond that, at least to me it starts to feel as though Blizzard is just building the decks for you. Tons of synergy cards forced together to make a deck isn't the way to explore an archetype. Creativity comes in utilizing what's available and figuring out how to make it work, and (for me) that's the bread and butter of this game.
I was hoping for a warrior card - "3 mana gain 5 armor, if your deck has only odd cost cards gain 15 instead". Maybe give it echo just incase... xD
Echo armor card would be a thing I guess. Either for warrior or druid.
What achievement?
Glad they are not doing more forced odd and even but i like the fact that all new cards should get considered in Baku and Genn decks. Who knows maybe they only print even shaman cards alongside the new hero and it will be the new meta......
Glad that they aren't forcing this upon all classes

That is a good new you know those kind of cards are not really healthy for players it limits deck crafting choices.
By the way they are being clever by not implementing stat tracking especially people start to see their win rate ratio etc they get discouraged to play further because when you play more and more those stats becomes more solid and becomes really hard to increase.

lolo
They'd implement the "necessary" UI additions if Hearthstone players weren't a bunch of whiny bitches who'd stop at nothing in order to get JUST ONE MORE THING.
Wouldn't appear that's the case; nor will it ever be.
It's not that HS players are whiny, it's that the devs seem to have no idea how to implement things into the game.
acheivement
I only comment here for the achievement
