pls nerf to 0/1 kappa
Ooh nice, I hadn't thought of the egg synergy.
Huh, basically, it's Crazed Alchemist's bigger brother, or neutral Confuse, with a body attached.
Now, in my experience, people don't usually play that card, so the questions become, 'Why don't they play it?' and 'does this fix those problems?'
So, the first question; I'd say it isn't run because it's half an answer, to one minion. It can kill any 0 atk minions, but that's pretty rare to see. It can set up favorable trades, but emphasis on the set up. It doesn't make them, because you already have to have something else to work with. Thirdly, it's just kind of underwhelming; You have better things to do with your time than run one of these.
So, does Void Ripper fix those issues?
Well, it doesn't fully answer the board, but it does hit all minions. That's a step up already, since it allows you to use your board clears more effectively against everyone. 0 Attack minions, same goes, and it hits them all. Thirdly, in the late game, where you'll be using this card, like as not, you'll be glad to see a 3/3 more than a 2/2, so that's good. As far as being underwhelming goes, I'd argue we need to see it in action first, before we judge that for real.
Beyond that, we have some other things. First, it's a demon. For all your Sacrificial Pact needs...... Kappa. No, but seriously, that is a change, that won't have much effect, but I guess it means it's a bit better in warlock. Worth noting, I guess. Past that, it's a neutral, unlike Confuse, which it has a lot in common with. So, the question becomes 'Who wants confuse besides priest?' Well, I've already see comments about Spreading Plague OTKs, or demolishing spreading plague with a board clear. Either way, it's worth looking out for, and I'm sure a few people will run it in the beginning of the expansion, if nothing else. I think a few people will play it with meme-y elemental mages/shamans with Ozruk. Likely with limited success.
Overall, I'm not seeing this card taking over the meta, but I wouldn't be surprised if it found a spot in it, maybe even in a high-tier deck. I don't think it'll be the centerpiece, though.
Some people do run Crazed Alchemist in Aggro Token Druid, its for mega burst with crypt lord and other stuff.
Edit: But yeah I doubt it will be run in many decks.
The fact that it doesnt change its own attack and defense makes it bad.
Kappa
100% controllable, non-rng, competitively stat'd, enabler card. Cards like this and Defile are what we need more of.
Hey didn't someone here suggest a card like this?
Anyway, I really like this card, and it's a neutral Demon! I know that doesn't really matter, but I just love seeing new Neutral Demons.
Ayyy more egg deck support
It's a tool against spreading plague.
The Demon tag is interesting. If you play this with Mal'Ganis all your demons gain the +2/+2 buff again. That won't be good but it will be good enough for me to play it.
Dude are you serious? I love this design. A) it's a neutral demon, we have very few non-warlock demons so that's just about worth a mention for potential (future) non-warlock demon synergies, B) Spreading Plague, C) Generally allows for interesting value trading options in any decks which would run this for another reason (e.g. get rid of that pesky Primordial Drake or Voidlord with your Stonehill Defender, D) Equality + this = aoe Aldor Peacekeeper (ok that one is a bit questionable), E) Crypt Lord
Even though most of those ideas are not all that strong, this card allows for so much potential interesting deckbuilding in future imo, especially with this being a neutral.
The eggs.
Devilsaur Egg
Nerubian Egg
Fragile utility minions with low health/high attack.
Necrotic Geist
Minions buffed by an aura will retain the buffed health/attach as their new value AND receive the buff again.
Stormwind Champion
Raid Leader
Defense: Wounded minions with low health remaining. That monster you can't quite kill, but CAN bring down to 1 health.
Enraged minions. The new higher attack value becomes their health, then enrage them again.
Minions whose attack value grows over time.
Frothing Berserker
Gurubashi Berserker
Just because a lot of these don't see play today, doesn't mean they won't start showing up.
An epic? Ewww
This is the END, ... of the druids ONE - FiFe taunt :)

This with Brann.♥️
DEAR LORD THE VALUE
There can be an actual value here.
If you have Dire Wolf Alpha between two 1/1 (each one of them is a 2/1 now)
You drop Brann and this new demon:
First Battlecry: both 2/1 minions will become 1/2, then get buffed by the wolf and become 2/2.
Second Battlecry: both 2/2 minions switch their attack and health again and become 2/2 and now they get buffed by the wolf and become 3/2.
