This is pretty much just gonna be an Arena card. Radiant Elemental will be Priest's constructed 2 drop.

I think having 4 solid 2 drops in the deck especially for priest can be nice. No need to replace anything.

To me the main question is what card do you want to replace with it? Most other buff cards in standard target health and the ones which are played are pretty efficient (Tortollan Shellraiser, Kabal Talonpriest, Power Word: Shield). I don't really think that Shadow Ascendant can replace either of those cards atm because the other buff minions have way better stats and Power Word: Shield is to important for card draw.

 Only bit above half his cards are known, not to mention his hero card is still unknown.

I feel like if this were Shaman it would be able to buff itself, sadly, like Shattered Sun Cleric I don't think this'll see place.

This would be great for shaman or druid with their tokens but in priest it's not as impactul . We ll see .

Interesting card, but the only Priest deck type I enjoy playing is Quest + N'zoth, and this obviously wouldn't fit there.

Good card but doesnt feel like a priest card, will see play in decks.

If you got both Cleric and this card in hand it can be very effective against aggro.
Turn 1 Northshire Cleric , followed up by Shadow Ascendant .
You will have a 2/4 cleric at the end of turn 2 which can kill things like Crackling Razormaw , King's Elekk and so on.
Which is a huge tempo win.

edit: Turn 3 Kabal Talonpriest at Shadow Ascendant and you'll get some steamroll effects. IF you can keep them all alive.

really don't like this card...it just keeps up the 1-drop snowball that so many classes have access to (and which makes Hunter really really sad). Turn 1 Northshire ito this is similar to the Paladin Murloc start which can be just as frustrating if you just don't have anything to really contest it

oh well, at least it buffs arena priest

The thing is, priest struggles in the early game as there are only 2 ok-ish minions. Hunters have some beasts to play on turn 2. This is a nice card to help midrange priest Decks. (which we will be seeing more of, as the meta is going to slow down)

I like the themes and names Priest cards getting.

This seems great and all, but the 2 drop slot for priest has much better cards like radient elemental and even mana geode, and how often will this even buff anything, and why are you buffing in priest? Seems fine but not for priest. 

seems fine as a follow up for cleric, but 2/2 is simply a bad statline for priest in general

Awesome. All around. I feel I can safely say this is a good card. Perhaps more then any other in this set. Perhaps it's because of my style of play(Value/heal), but even a perfect aggro drop/ok mid-range/bad control match can curve into a potential win with a board-eccentric priest now. Especially with the amount of hail-mary cards priest has to bring back awkward states(I'm comparing to you, Hunter).
