Groovy Cat Free Spirit
Cool card. Seems like the type of card that could be decent and fun to build around, but never game-breaking.
I really like this card. This is my type of card. Pretty Heavy on the deckbuilding potential. It has the flavor of that gives you all your Toys to your hand (Minis) but isn't limited to just that.
You can do so much with this, go full on Crazyness and add a bunch of Chaotic Tendril to your hand. But can gives you another Lynessa Sunsorrow, another Cage Head, Amitus, the Peacekeeper, Eyestalk of C'Thun.
Every single Astral Automaton and Pogo-Hopper you played that game. The potential and creativity is crazy.
The only thing I hope is that my man, the OG toymaker, Dollmaster Dorian returns to this set. Don't disrespect my boy.
I'm not so sure if this would trigger cards like Eyestalk and Pogo Hopper if they don't have 1 attack or health at the moment you play them?
Pretty sure it does.
For how the cards work on Heartstone you always get new plain copies of the original cards, and that's the card as appears in your collection. And cards like Poggo are a 1/1 that gain +2/+2 after you play them, so you play it as a 1/1.
In the same way, if you play another card as a 1/1 for the effect of cards like Shadowcaster for example, Jeppeto shouldn't give you the card back, cause you played a non-1/1 with an enchantment that made it a 1/1. That's how usually works. But the Magic of HS is that the rules are an ilussion and every card works a little as the devs felt like it at the moment, so you can't be 100% until play the card (+ all the possible bugs and unintended interactions of the first patch). But I believe that it should work that way.
The only cards I'm not sure about are cards like Sunscale Raptor, cause they don't have green numbers, which are basically what represents a stat enchantment.
This card is cool as heck, and even without seeing most of the set already has a *ton* of good targets.
In Overheal Priest this is cool. He gets extra Groovy Cats and Free Spirits. Automaton Priest. Obviously Amitus. But maybe Cage Head.
Battlecry: Deal X damage lackey ragequits.
I'm assuming tokens and the new miniaturized stuff will work with this card, but I've got to wonder if cards that you buff in your hand (0 attack base going to 1 attack, or 1 attack/health base going to 2+ attack/health when buffed) will work the same way.
My GUESS is that it'll check the original stats of the card. Not altered stats.
So minis will count, but cards that have been changed to 1/1s won't.
I hope that’s the case because I was also thinking of Dark Pharaoh Tekahn so once played buffing the lackeys you’ll get them back in your hand with Jepetto with the 4/4 buff since they were originally 1/1s
Automaton
Finally, a reason to play Cool Ghoul!
No...?
Finally! A way to replay all the Rager cards!!
This changes everything!!!
All? Ice Rager ;)
And Scourge Rager
Fine. SOME of the Rager cards!
I'm still HERE FOR THE RAGER META.
Maybe Markmckz figures out something to do with them.
Amitus, the Peacekeeper kekw
ugh. I already don't like this. Previous incarnation Jepetto was a combo enabler and this probably will be too.
Looking at you MarkMckz! <.<
A MarkMckz combo usually requires about 7 cards, multiple mana discounts, and works every time once every fifty tries.
He's fun, but he isn't exactly breaking the meta.
Imagine making the Jepetto into a 2 cost 2/2.
