this ability cant be a battlecry , cause battlecry insta-works when u play the card....i dont know why u made it a battlecry , but this ability cant be counted as battlecry....better put "deathrattle: destroy your hero" that makes sense and this card cant be silenced
It's a permanent effect just like Mist Caller.
Mistcaller does something when he enters the battlefield , put a battlecry "when this minion die destroy your hero" is not a battlecry....this Caen card has deathrattle actually...all deathrattles with this logic are battlecry:" when this minion die..."
It doesn't have deathrattle. A deathrattle effect would not trigger upon getting Hexed, Entombed, or Mind Controlled, but Caen's effect would. If its effect is to stay the way it is, it cannot be a deathrattle.
then its an ability that should be Deathrattle: "destroy your hero. This minion cant be targeted by spells and hero powers.Immune to silence" .....then we are ok....but it s not a battlecry since it does something after his death , its just wrong
then there would be no way to deal with it. how about battlecry: put a secret in play with "At the start of your turn destroy your hero unless you control erdar master caen xeizen"
seems like a reasonable way to implement passive effects
It should just put the boom bots in your hand so it's a 7/7 for 7 that you can pay extra for the extra value of the boom bots still strictly better than war golem but it's legendary so that's fair
that being said I don't really think it shoud be nerfed, any deck can use it effectively and it is easily dealt with by another card that any deck can use sure it's a bit op but that's how legendaries are supposed to be
When GvG came out, I really wanted to try Bolvar Fordragon, so I spent 1600 precious dust on crafting him when I was still missing some good legendaries and a lot of epics
I had fun playing him, but since then I've definitely decided to save my spending dust for epics. With that dust alone, I could have made multiple dragon decks and a dreadsteed deck, which are decks I've really wanted to play but been unable to due to a dust shortage.
I like this card in priest because it doesn't really hurt their cards and it has good stats plus it combos incredibly well with Mind Control and if it's already on board you can get an immediate artifact play from Arch-Thief Rafaam
added gorillabot instead of hammer of wrath and its definitely a welcome addition, I still think the secrets are worth the value they provide, reviving a piloted shredder or annoyotron is a big deal especially with knife juggler out
I'd recommend cutting HoW and the secrets and maybe the Knife Jugglers, and throwing in Gorillia bot or whatever his name is. Sure, he's a slow card, but Mech decks have a tendency to run out of steam and puke their hands out by turn 5 anyway. Also adding a Cog Hammer and maybe Seal of the Champion or Kings.
I had kings but I switched to hammer of wrath just to try it out, will probably switch back, I like the secrets cuz they severely add to the stickiness of your board which is really helpful but they can be replaced, the 4 slot is already crowded as the goal is to play out your hand asap into divine favor, the mechs are just there cuz mechwarper is insane value for board flooding
Are the secrets better replaced by more minions or maybe an equality in case you have a board full of fatties? Just curious. Interesting deck.
I like how the secrets make them miscalculate trades by adding to the stickiness of your minions and work with divine favor but they can definitely be replaced with minions, perhaps it would be better I don't think equality fits though, keeper of uldaman and aldor peacemaker can easily handle any threat and the deck generally wins before turn 8
I generally don't bother climbing ladder very much because I constantly make new decks, but just trying this deck out I climbed from 15 to 8 pretty easily in on sitting
That would probably work well, I just don't particularly like having 4 weapons since it gives the possibility of dead cards and I like that Hammer of Wrath cycles cards and bypasses taunt, but try out however works best for you

Thought I'd grab N'zoth for fun and I was actually given quite a few deathrattle minions

edit: slight changes to be consistent with the existing forbidden cards

What cards have you regretted crafting most?
