mill rogue was a LOT harder before Gang Up. Finally got rogue to 60 yesterday, though, so I've moved on. Trying my hand at a mech/mill warrior.

posted a message on Totally ridiculous idea for golden cards

I was just in the shower thinking (it's where I do my best thinking) about ways to make a trolly-yet-viable Iron Juggernaut deck when the scent of bodywash inspired a different train of thought; what to do about golden cards.

There seems to be two types of players: those who draw a golden card and see nothing but a pile of enchanting dust and those who see them for what they are meant to be.. swaggy bling (or is it blingy swag?)! For the latter, what if there was a way to enhance the bling playstyle? What if there was a way for those who slap down a golden version of a card during their matches and smirk, telepathically sending to their opponents "marvel at my tightness, yo.. MARVEL AT IT!" to feel and be even more tricked out?

    Here's my idea: bling points.

Every time you play a golden card in a match of consequence (the innkeeper is not impressed) you gain a bling point. Bling points are accrued and hoarded until you have enough to purchase an enhancement for your Hearthstone experience. What enhancements you may ask, jaw agape, a rivulet of drool forming around your chin? Dope shit, like shades, earrings and gold chains for your hero portraits. Special effects for your emotes (like different colors and fonts.. yeah.. you know you're dealing with a true playa when his "I will hunt you down!" comes at you in teal comic sans!). You could even spend them upgrading your gold cards to diamond cards! Aww shit son, NOW we're talkin!

This may not be the perfect idea, and I'll probably forget it all tomorrow, but I believe this would be a welcome addition that would bring much depth to the game.

It has a slightly faster processor and larger cmos, yes (not that the latter matters much). but you can no longer swap batteries and mem cards like you could on previous models.

The "edge", well.. depends on if you think that's neat or not. The side screen allows for context-sensitive hot buttons and face-down notifications (who the hell keeps their phone face down anyway?), but its also another potential point-of-failure in an impact, and the phone as a whole is more susceptible to bend damage because of it.

Here's a Forbes review for you to consider. http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2015/04/27/samsung-galaxy-s6-vs-galaxy-s5-review/2/

I'd probably go for a Galaxy S5. The S6 is a step backwards, IMO, and you can get an S5 free and clear (no leases or whatnot) for peanuts nowadays.

    I, too, would like this.

Unfortunately, the official Blizz response would likely be that the ability to do so would be too overwhelming for new and casual players.

posted a message on Why is my rogue always losing? deck listed

you have ZERO early board presence and looks like you're trying to rely entirely on control via spells until you can toss a violet teacher out, which, I'm guessing, by the time you do you're already too far behind

I think that blizzard could do more for the pirate as they are the weakest subgroup at the moment when compared to demons, beasts or murloc.

Buffing Captain's Parrot would go a long way (either reducing it to 1 cost or having it draw two pirates instead of one).

Start with beefing up Murlocs to become a meta-viable tribe? So many murlocs already and they're only a few cards away from not only making murlocs viable, but making shamans kick ass again. Two birds with one stone.

I agree, making them not as squishy as they are would make them a fine meta. They need to do what they did with mechs and add core cards that 1. are good with said archetype and 2. are good without it. I mean, Piloted shredders are great with or without mechs behind them. They could do the same to beasts as well, since demons are pretty good now. Dragons seem to be ok, from what ive seen it's either the decks with them do great or horrible.

there's a very, very good reason why murlocs are as individually squishy as they are right now

uh, murlocs were face-eating pre-Naxx.. its just that the expansions have caused them to fall out of favor. You can't really buff them because they're only a card or two away from becoming stupid strong again.

What do we have here, those who would defy the spellweaver? Those without foresight or understanding.  How can I make you see; Malygos is saving the world from itself!

Bah, you are hardly worth my time!

I'd be willing to bet Majordomo loses more games than Millhouse.
