I really would like to see an ocean/sea themed expansion sometime into the future, with different types of fish as minions. I know we have murlocs, which are sort of fish but I'd be great to see stuff like eels or giant octopuses! Heck, even water elementals would be cool!
Start with beefing up Murlocs to become a meta-viable tribe? So many murlocs already and they're only a few cards away from not only making murlocs viable, but making shamans kick ass again. Two birds with one stone.
Water Elemental also exists but I hear what you are saying and it wouldn't make a bad adventure if they went that route
I know water elemental are already around, but if my raiding day memories serve me right, there were some powerful water elementals that were bosses. Stuff like that! We could finally see some naga cards too!
uh, murlocs were face-eating pre-Naxx.. its just that the expansions have caused them to fall out of favor. You can't really buff them because they're only a card or two away from becoming stupid strong again.

I agree, making them not as squishy as they are would make them a fine meta. They need to do what they did with mechs and add core cards that 1. are good with said archetype and 2. are good without it. I mean, Piloted shredders are great with or without mechs behind them. They could do the same to beasts as well, since demons are pretty good now. Dragons seem to be ok, from what ive seen it's either the decks with them do great or horrible.
Are fish... well a thing in Warcraft lore? I mean, there is no water combat, right? I could imagine Nagas being a thing and with Naga, Pirate, Murlocs you can have a water-y expansion. But are all those somewhere connected? I have no clue to be honest.
I know the Naga from WC3 and those were cool so... yeah sea expansion! I guess.

there's a very, very good reason why murlocs are as individually squishy as they are right now
Can people make up their minds? First they complain non-stop about aggro then they beg for murlocs to become viable?
They already have so many murloc cards out there with so-so synergy and it would take very little work to make them viable. They're basically the pirate tribe except a little better: an existing tribe with a few synergy cards but little to no meta viability. Murloc would certainly increase the number of aggro decks out there, but it would also make shaman relevant again, which is something I definitely believe needs to happen again. Shaman class is literally dead in the water right now.

Murlocs were crushing diamond league players post beta

Have a great deck that's really, really cheap? Help the new players out

Squish the fish!
Oblivion!
My hope for an expansion is Pirates & Murlocs. That could probably feature stuff from the sea :)
I think that blizzard could do more for the pirate as they are the weakest subgroup at the moment when compared to demons, beasts or murloc.
Angry Chicken
Buffing Captain's Parrot would go a long way (either reducing it to 1 cost or having it draw two pirates instead of one).
They should beef up murlocs and pirates a bit, but focus on building naga. Currently darkscale healer is the only naga.
I'll take you one step further and say that we should get a nautical-themed expansion full of pirates, naga, and sharks.
9 mana legendary Evermaw?
Murlocs have alwasy been viable.
