I'm pretty sure this card could have some use with the new priest Loa Spirit of the Dead and the second Legendary Bwonsamdi, the Dead. Bwonsamdi draws all the 1 mana minions, then you play the Princess, and if you want extra fiesta, play a second Spirit of the Dead. Throw in a Surrender to Madness in the mix and you could have a great midrange deck.
In my time playing this game, I always felt like having the cutlass package was extremely slow, and barely worked versus other Rogues, so I just straight replaced it with cards like Earthen Ring Farseer and Rotten Applebaum. Combo those with Sonya Shadowdancer and Valeera the Hollow in the later turns, and you have all the healing you'd get from cutlass, scrapping the "useless" weapon tech cards.
People keep saying this is a great Control Pally card, but I can definitely see this being used in Odd Paladin aswell, as a way to just get rid of the enemy board if they have taunts or any big threatning minions. Not a perfect strategy but it works in a way.
I mean, the whole premise of Odd Paladin is having your board swarmed with 1/1's, so yeah...
Whenever you play a Hero card, it technically turns you into that class, so Tess plays the cards from other classes that aren't your current one.
So for example, if you get Hagatha, you become a Shaman, so Tess will play all the Rogue cards you played during the game and any others that aren't Shaman cards (Mage, Paladin, etc)!
Just turned this on I think yesterday, or today, can't remember, and so far with my Tempo Rogue (forced to have to play a "meta" deck to get any sort of wins) these are the stats. Even if I have 61% winrate, it still feels so soul-crushing to lose to Paladin that I feel like my winrate is 1%...
But is diverse, at seems that there are also a lot of things to explore. Great time to play some hs!
I agree, I was incredibly excited to try out the new decktypes we could have gotten from this expansion, especially Thief Rogue, but the current meta, even after standard rotation, has decks that just run the exact same cards from last year with 1 or 2 new additions, and to me that's really infuriating for someone that wants to try new deck ideas.
Ok, clearly I missjudged the reaction my friendly rant thread would have gotten, I was just trying to talk about the fact that I used to have a ton of fun with Hearthstone, building decks and playing with new cards, but now it's all the same decks, always going face, and I have no fun whatsover. All I've played the past week since expansion launch is Aggro Paladin, Aggro Mage, Spiteful Priest and Cubelock, and they all have the same deck, with little to no variation. Class popularity to me means nothing, because in my eyes, all I ever see is Paladins, and to me that ruins the meta.
Also, I shouldn't have titled it "Since Launch" considering I haven't played since launch, so sorry if I insulted any of you.
I've been playing Hearthstone since before MSG came out, and I remember playing versus a ton of Pirate Warriors, but I also remember everyone else playing control or midrange style decks to counter pirate warrior.
But in the Witchwood meta, all I ever see on ladder is some variation on an aggro deck, with Paladin being the top cancer class of the expansion... not to mention all these unfair Spiteful decks!
If you were to change anything, what would you change to maybe change this cancerous meta we have right now!
I wanna ask everyone here a question: do you consider Elven Minstrel and Witchwood Piper to be around the same power level, or is one better than the other?
I can see the advantages that Elven Minstrel has over the piper: he draws 2 cards instead of just one, and it's not a specific low cost card.
But the Witchwood Piper also has advantages over the Minstrel: she removes a low cost minion from your deck that you'd other wise rather not top deck, and her 3/3 body is better than the 3/2 of the Elven Minstrel. Plus, you don't need an activator to play her, and Elven Minstrel is kind of bad when played without the combo activator...
Just wondering about everyone's thoughts on the matter!

This deck is pretty fun, but can get a bit frustrating when not drawing well (especially Zephrys, the little bastard).
Tess Greymanex13 is always a good time though!

From my experience, this deck is lacking some healing. I added 2 Earthen Ring Farseer and the deck immediately started doing much better.
