I don't think MCT can target the same minion twice, as the Battlecries resolve after each other and not simultaneously. That's why you didn't get a second minion when your friend just had 4 minions. It triggers the first time, steals a minion, triggers a second time, notices the condition (4 minions) is no longer fulfilled, and returns.
The second interaction is just as it always was, if the Minion you'd steal with MCT would be your 8th, it gets destroyed.

I really hate this fucking game. I've played tens of thousands of games. Golden Warrior, Priest, Mage, Hunter... with 1000+ wins on both warrior and priest. But you know what really fucking pisses me off? The randomness that just shouldn't fucking happen. When my enemy has a full board of 1/1s and a 10/1, and I have 13 life, and I play BRAWL, I fucking expect the outcome to be that a 1/1 lives. That's what should happen MORE often than not. In fact, there's an 85% chance for a favorable outcome to me. So WHY in the everliving fuck does the 10/1 win the brawl? Naturally the game doesn't "know" it's a 10/1 as far as brawl is concerned. It doesn't care about the stats of the surviving one. And there's an equal chance for each one to win versus each other one, but there is only a 15% chance for the 10/1 to win.
So how many fucking times have I sent my champions on missions in WoW and they win the bonus with a 50% chance, or 60%, or whatever... it fucking happens a lot. Statistically it should happen. You should very rarely, for instance, lose a bonus item that has an 85% chance. So why the fuck does it happen all the god damn time in Hearthstone? It's fucking annoying and it ruins the experience, because playing Brawl at THAT moment is a SKILLFUL choice, that is, playing it when the board is full, playing it when there is the highest chance for a bad creature to survive, but hearthstone is just a random fuckfest, and it says "Fuck your playing skills, you lose."
No thanks. I think I'm done with Hearthstone.

This shit again. Wow.

How does priest get out 3 Dr. Booms turn 3? Priest doesn't have minion cost reduction. They just have multiple copies of legendaries.
Edit: Oh, they had two Offensive Play. That is REALLY good luck on their part to draw into their second offensive play AND have three of their four Dr. Booms all by turn 3...

Just play Rogue... five wins in a row easy.

My guess is the game is treating it as you playing a 1/1, instead of summoning it. Honestly, neither of those things happens though. You aren't summoning something when it simply changes. If you evolve and you get a knife juggler, you don't trigger it, because TRANSFORM is not the same thing as summon or play. So yes I would say it's bugged.

My first game in this brawl and my "opponent" is trying to kill me like an absolute fucking retard. I sent him a friend request after we LOST but he didn't expect, probably because he realized how fucking dumb he was.

I get triggered just by two of them on the ladder. "Jesus christ... a 5/6 on turn 5 with selective thoughtsteal on it..." And then another one. And then usually a fucking third one from Historian.

I fucking hate the steaming pile of shit that is Arena. For fuck's sake. It takes the balance of pirate warrior/shaman and makes it look legit. Every fucking thing I play, my opponent has an answer. I find myself asking something that I heard Kripp ask once, "Can you [opponent] please just NOT play something?" I establish a strong early board -- enemy AoEs it. I play four minions, enemy has MC Tech in hand. Of course I play around MC Tech, but it's always that once instance where it fucks you.
I typically play mage, priest, warlock in arena. My best is probably with priest. But fuck, I just can't win. I think my average win rate is probably 2-3 wins. Sometimes with priest I'll go 5-6 wins. But it seems like my opponent always has better cards. My last few games? Opponent drops fucking Al'akir out of nowhere. Takes out my 5/3 and a 2/2, and then I have to trade in to it of course. Where's my god damn legendaries?
And the one time I actually get kazakhas, and proceed to build a deck around it, I end up facing another fucking player with it. Jesus christ... and then my resses a fucking 1/1. Awesome.
Shamans with 7/7s on turn 4. Priests with endless buffs -- like their entire fucking hand is filled with Velen's Chosen. Or that Warlock who has the Blastcrystal Potion in hand just at the right moment.
Jesus, I thought Hearthstone ranked was enough of a clown fiesta of randomness, but Arena takes the cake.

Really what they MEANT to say is that it took two years worth of expansions, adventures, and rotations for them to feel comfortable releasing such a card.
