I like the approach of buffing more cards than they're nerfing. Should lead to a lot more experimentation and shaking up the meta. Often nerfs just tend to change the powerlevel of the various deck rather than lead to new ones.

P4dge posted a message on Quilboars Join Battlegrounds & Battle-Ready Decks - Full Patch Notes 20.2 TomorrowPosted in: NewsWith these battle-ready decks Blizzard is just taking another step in their effort to kill off all variety in constructed.
Well no, they are moving with the wishes of the player base. As much as a few vocal people hate to think it, lots of people don't want to spend hours deck building. They simply don't like it. I'm one of those people, I've ko interest in making a deck list and spending ages playing and tweaking it. If you find that fun, cool, good for you. I don't have that sort of time, I'm glad you do.
So a large - I'd guess very large - amount of players want to be able to grab decks and play. Blizzard have just been moving towards supporting that because.... Well it's dumb as hell not to.
You may have this weird elitist attitude regarding 'net decks' but that's a you problem, you're in the minority though so you're going to have to accept that.
I'm going to guess that you can't wrap your head around this though and will bizarrely just believe that Blizzard deliberately acts in ways to piss its customers off. They know far more about how to design games than you do, that's just a fact. But sure, you continue being deluded enough to think your warped perception is correct.
This is a great idea, a very large amount of this player base will be very casual. I have all the cards listed but I know people who don't and may return as a result of being able to grab a deck and jump back in.

PetiteMouche posted a message on Mage is fun, right?Posted in: General DiscussionMage desperately needs a nerf in wild. My friend just told me now diamond 1-4 is almost 100% otk flamewaker mage and theres no counters. Even aggro loses to otk mage.
I don't know who your friend is but he lied to you, there are plenty of counters to flamewaker mage, and not just aggro.
I don't see any reason to nerf a deck that does NOTHING but draw cards for 6-7 turns then goes off with an "OTK" that needs to go through your board before it hits your face.
Aggro does counter it.
Dirty Rat / Hecklebot / Deathlord / counter it.
Odd warrior counters it. Any variant works, tempo, OTK or control.
Renolock counters it. (tested this myself, Skull of the Man'ari builds a giant board that they can't deal with)
I am 100% confident that bad players are just over reacting, this deck is not dangerous at all, be it the flamewaker or mozaki variant.
Also, it's a deck that requires a lot of skill to play correctly I think, they have to use as little spells as possible before they get to their combo, it's not easy. It's a combo deck after all.
Jesus, you can even counter flamewaker mage with a Crossroads Watch Post, how could this be a broken deck LOL.
So there is a nerf for you, the meta will shift to counter flamewaker mage and you will not hear about it ever again, they'll go back to quest mage or renomage shenaningans.
There are so many ways for mage to build combo decks that go face anyway, you could nerf Flamewaker and Mozaki to oblivion and it wouldn't make any difference. I have one currently that is just using all the face damage spells + Aegwynn, the Guardian + Saronite Chain Gang / Doppelgangster (gets double/triple aegwynn effect).
And it's not like I even NEED the spell damage bonus, with Frostbolt, Ice Lance, Runed Orb, Forgotten Torch and Fireball, I have 48 damage already.

I'm very much down for more inclusion wherever it's necessary but stuff like this is just a counter-argument for anyone who already thinks "feminism" is a curse word imo...

I don't think it's about a lesson. The whole Hearthstone design since ages is around mana cheat. It's not that they didn't learn, is that it's how the game works and will always work. And I think it's ok. Mana cheat is cool when handled properly.
The thing is when they don't test it and release something broken, like Stealer of Souls or Kael'thas Sunstrider. This card doesn't seems broken. Requires a whole deck around it, and it'll have a big RNG factor. You won't always have specifically one spell - one Naga combination and maybe at most will be able to trigger this one or two times.
Anyways, we have to wait and see, because maybe the start showing up more nagas and mana cheating spells that synergize and in that scenario it'd broken af lol.

I don't agree 100% with @Reacherl.
As you said, on control this is a good and reliable tool for classes that can't handle sticky boards. But it can be also on agro as a tech card with only one copy against buff decks. It won't be about handling the board state. It'll be for "healing" yourself and winning the face-race. If you reduce the damage input the opponent has, it gives you more time for winning.
Think about, for example, Quest Hunter. If Beast Druid is a real problem with its buffs and shenanigans, having one copy of this can give you one or two turns more for winning. On face decks, one or two additional turns is game winning.

I really don't know why this card receives that many hate. People complains about sticky minions and boards and OP effects. Silence was always the perfect counter for all of it, but we never had good silence tools (apart from Priest that now has shard, which is awesome)
This is a good reliable tool and it can go in LOTS of decks. Even in agro decks, since it has beast synergy with Druid and Hunter.

Dear god this is broken if you manage to keep on board one colossal, since the summoned copy will also summon it's other parts.
2
I think this is a good card actually. Huge board and huge boy. Also, additional spoiler from the card reveal, Windfury will be on the core set.
2
This can go very well with a Control Priest and with Big Spell Mage. I really hope to get Conjurers Calling and Khadgar into Core Set... A man can dream.
2
Saying that this is bad is like if you have never played against paladin. Giving Paladin access to a Tracking is SCARY. Even more since this can be generated again and it has some very good stats.
3
I don’t like paladin as a class. But this card is so well designed, has such a nice flavor and effect… That I’ll have the obligation of making a mech paladin with it for the rest of the upcoming expansions lol.
2
Actually not that huge if your deck is Mech Paladin in wild. This is AT WORST draw 3 for 2 mana on most scenarios and draw 5 will also happen frequently.
On standard we'd wait and see.
3
This will be incredibly busted in wild. On standard it could have potential at some point of this year/next one. It all depends of the core set we get and the next expansions.
