The only thing Day9 has to try hard at is win a game of hearthstone, but the man is a true professional and funny just to look at. He is a breath of fresh air in the hearthstone world because literally everyone else is cringe. Including your comment.

for those of you saying that it just makes odd pally cancer, consider that odd pally can only summon 1 cost minions with the new call to arms, and the value decreases for murloc pally.

OneTrickPony posted a message on New Paladin Spell - RebukePosted in: Card DiscussionSo like 2 cards of murloc and dude paladin goes out. Deck will stay strong...
From the current meta, this prevents:
- dark pacting
- Dragon furieng
- Spellhuntering (like, in general)
- Spreading Plaguing
- A lot of control warrior stuff (except bloodraised)
It's not strong vs. Priest any more with dragonfire and horror going out, but this buys a turn before your megasaur, level up or stegadon against almost everything. Crazy strong. Blizzard pushing T1 deck.
Finally: The remark abiut the "skilltesting card nature" makes me doubt blizzard a lot. If this is what they rate as skilltesting than they really want to keep it simple.

cluelesspug posted a message on Arena Changes for March 16 - Less Legendaries, More Below Average PicksPosted in: NewsI agreed with you until you called Blizzard retards. This is good for the overall, long-term playability and enjoyment of arena and we should be grateful they are working hard to improve the game mode. It will just be imbalanced for a few weeks. Chill out.

Congrats you've just won the coveted "Retard Post of the Day" award. I do hope you're proud of yourself. As for the OP's question. I think I'll wait for more cards to be released, especially for the classes I play most (Paladin/Priest/Rogue/Shammy), but to be honest I might as well buy it. 70 packs for the price of 40 is an unbelieavable dieal. -

Xynot posted a message on No signs of new expansion yet, isn't it kinda late?Posted in: General DiscussionIn the past they have hyped too early, it only takes about 2-3 weeks. I would look for something toward the middle of the month.

It's not what I'd do but imagine a druid with the Twig weapon at one durability. Play this and break the weapon.
Edit: when i say not something I'd do, I mean from a deck building perspective, I'm not sure if its optimal.
2
Why would you break the weapon first? The whole idea is you end the turn at 10 mana and them at 5.

Apparently not since i got downvoted for stating just that. Somehow, you got upvoted. I must have posted when stupid ppl were online.

With the right combination, this battlecry could be like a mysterious challenger from hell.

More anti-combo cards are gonna be needed or we're gonna be depending on lucky warlocks and aggro/rogues being strong enough to keep this in check. Rip control mage. I'm gonna miss that deck.
2
Quite of few declaring a card bad because of one card that's only really played in 2 decks. One even warlock, it's a niche tech choice, and the other is Big Spell Mage which has quite a few counter match ups. I don't see anyone outside those 2 decks playing geist, maybe the occasional control warrior.

Pretty sure people would be freaking out more if ET was printed for druids over this card.
2
Because oaken summons is a pretty important defensive tool and pulling a 3/4 with no taunt is really bad. Oakheart is often really important for making sure Hadronox ever gets on the board. Now after testing ppl might determine that's a downside their willing to accept in the meta that arises. Certainly not a possiblity I would completely dismiss, especially, with so many cards still needing to be revealed.

Emperor enabled far more potent combos than this ever will even if you just consider druid and ignore all the other classes. Remember zero mana living roots?
2
I don't think this will see play in taunt druid as it has anti-synergies with oaken summons and Oakheart. In Maly druid, it certainly gives the archetype more options.
