You just think about it in terms: "Waaagh, they combine 3 cards into 1, waagh this card is overpowered". First of all, Animal Companion doesn't overstatted. It is decent card, but it is not such powerful card as people think. RNG element makes this card even worse.
Also, you argue in terms of just stats, so you see 3 cards combined in 1. But, there is an aspect that you'r missing - manacost is not just bounce of card power. Manacost - is what drives this game. Every tier of manacost perform their special function, so CotW cost 8 mana means that it perform different function, e.g. finisher or comeback mechanic or strengthen the board function. I say it again, CotW - is not overpowered. You can play around this card, this card sits in the hand until the late game, board clears such Brawls, Flamestrike, Auchenai+Circle destroys it. And also, Hunters need this card.
What's wrong with playing Priest/Paladin vs. Hunter ? They can be favored depending on the deck. I won many times as Priest against Hunter with all their "OP" cards like CotW.
I wasn't trolling at all. And I know what I'm talking when I say that CotW isn't broken. I didn't say that it is bad or weak, no. I said that it is decent, it is good. But that's it. Don't be one of whiners and actually think of this card in terms of a class.
Saying that Call of the Wild needs nerf is wrong I think. It is not so strong card as you say when you know how to play against it. It is not so much value as you think of it. There is a decent card, but not OP for sure. Charge minion will instantly die anyway. Taunt is just pisses you but not so powerful in that stage of game. Leokk just irrelevant.
Also, even in forum post there are errors showing that many people don't know real costs of cards.
Tree of Life ? Completely renew your life pool - the big swing after board clear. This card is insane, if you think about it in context of deck.
I play deck very similar to 68% Priest and every time it is 30 health/70 armour vs. 30 health on my side with empty decks. Unless Warrior player make some stupid play like dropping Golden Monkey when it not needed or somehow fuckup on 2 Brawls - I'm have no chance. There are ton of options how to stay with clear board and to win warrior just need to get to fatigue game.
Auto concede vs. Priest ?! I play Priest and every time I meet this deck I lose, no matter what I do, unless warrior player really stupid. How you auto-concede ?
Caine plays a role of sticky minion that hard to remove from the board. Elise mostly used for value advantage in control decks in the late game. So their purposes are different. Also Elise has mediocre stats for 4 mana minion and it is almost impossible to get value from Golden Monkey in such a deck. Personally, I replaced Cairne with Arcanite Reaper and It fits great.
Will work perfectly without them. Finley's purpose in this deck I even can't see, except sometimes getting Hunter hero power. So it is easy to replace him. Greenskin just synergies well, but also nothing special.
not for any really , its specifically good for miracle but thats it , i wouldnt use it in any other rogue deck.
Card quality from Xaril is very good, it is good combo activator, it is deathrattle minion. And body is not so relevant for Rogue, stats are not terrible if you consider value that you get. I'm pretty sure that this card is even better that Van Cleef. While that guy almost every time will be hard removed, Xaril will do it value.
Imagine some day when you're will want to try Rogue. And, if you dust this card now, the degree of your regret will be devastating. Because this card is FUCKING RIDICULOUS(!) for ANY ROGUE !
Currently at rank 4 with this deck. And the real problem for me is Miracle Rogue - I'm 0-4 against it. With shamans it is clear - sometimes you win, sometimes lose. But how to counter Rogue ?

Lay on Hands - Nourish and Healing Touch in one class. Class, that has so many board clears and healings that just ridiculous.
Anyfin Can Happen - it is just incomparable ! This card is complete destruction out of nowhere.
Twisting Nether, DOOM! - just wait for more slowly meta, they will shine like crazy.
Mind Control - you silence then destroy their minion and also play same minion. It is crazy board swing in control matches.
Pyroblast - just pure and simple finisher. No need for enrage, ignores taunts.
Call of the Wild is not broken. I myself lost many games to it, but I don't want it to be nerfed.
