In this meta (aka Shaman dominance) this deck is not really good for laddering. I was playing it for a day, but switched to http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/651784-legend-2-asia-ramp-druid

That's not actually Ramp Druid. It is closer to Token Druid.

CW is perfectly good without Deathwing. And Deathwing is never used anywhere else, except for the lulz and, as I said, "last desperate chance". Also, you can play even Magma Rager, but it doesn't make it good card. So, fuck you - it is you saying bullshit.

No, it isn't. Even in this deck Deathwing is like "last desperate chance" and dragon-activator. This card is in the game for 2 years and only now has some play. Next year rotation we will lose all dragons, so Deathwing will see no play.

Thanks for the deck. Went from rank 16 to rank 10 in 1 and half hour, 3 losses only. Great deck.

Zoo typically beats it. Also, there are matchups for it on tempostorm meta snapshot, chose yours.

Too slow and ineffective on its own. Everything kills it, costs a lot of mana (it will be the most expensive card in the deck, considering Prophet is not really a 6-drop) and requires evolving right after battlecry. Too many conditions for really fast version of evolve deck.

I hate this aggro-meta. So many cool cards are wasted because of overpowered low-cost drops. You're right. Too slow.

I disagree. Addled Grizzly actually should be good in such deck. Just a bit slow in current meta, but still, good.

For aggro it has enough removals and board clears. And for heavy control there is Elise and card steals and Entomb in this deck. I'm pretty sura that Midrange - is worst matchup.

Don't use Hellfire - it is board control oriented small minions deck - it is just terrible substitution. Best replacement for Bane of Doom imo - Siphon Soul. For Leeroy Jenkins you can use any charge finisher or just totally remove him in favour of board control or late game, whatever your meta situation.

Of course Aggro decks are not self-piloted ! They require a player who plays role of a bot behind the monitor !

posted a message on Call of the NERF! (nerf Call of the Wild)

Regardless of your opponent, board condition and MU past turn 7 playing Call of the Wild is always the correct play.

Okay, I finally agree with you on this argument. It is definitely the best card to play on turn 8. Still, I think it shouldn't be nerfed. First, while playing Hunter, I often spot that CotW sits in my hand and completely useless till turn 8, also there are 2 of them in the deck, so this situation happens quite often. Second, Hunter class has huge problems with useless hero power, no healing and no real comeback mechanics. This card kinda fits in these roles (yea, your argument for 1 Chuck Norris card was right, but that's how Blizzard solves such poblems). Third, I still think it is "win more" card rather than actually powerful card on its own. If you lost board this card could save you, but you lose all your turn. And if you win - well, you're winning anyway.

Also, Blizzard didn't nerf Dr. Boom, they gave Shamans 7/7 for 4 mana turn and 3/4 for 2 mana. They gave us N'Zoth and Twin Emperor. They gave Zoolocks new 1/5 Undertaker. There are much more OP cards in this game than CotW.

So how do you balance it so that midrange Hunter actually has a chance versus control decks? Increasing the mana cost will just tip the scales in favor of control decks in an unfair way. 9 mana doesn't work because your opponent may have 10 mana next turn and can play something even more op. 10 mana doesn't work because you are likely completely fucked by that point. 8 mana is the perfect amount to be a really good, but not op, card and balance things out against control. Life would be pretty boring without this card.

Midrange hunter was always favored versus control, especially warrior, even before Call of the Wild, so i don't really know what you're talking about. It had, just like now, slightly unfavoured matchups vs zoo and aggro. The card needs a 10 mana cost in order to at least give the opponent a chance to fight back and stabilize. As a turn 8 play it's simply too strong, especially following a highmane and being close to lethal'd as you often are versus hunters. it becomes a struggle, not just to clear the board, but to survive, so even if you do clear the board, you are often finished by spells/bow/hero power either way, There's just too much to deal with.
In what meta? I've never played in one where it was favored against control. It would have shown up more if it was and it had no late game besides Highmane, which is easily dealt with.
Like I said, at 10 mana you are likely already dead as Hunter versus control and Call of the Wild won't help. Thus, killing any sort of balance and moving things to favor control for the sake of it and killing one more midrange option. Even 9 mana doesn't work without upsetting that balance. It also buys time against aggro if you make it that late in the game.
What... ? dude, the whole point of midrange is that it has favorable matchups vs control and bad matchups vs aggro or flood decks like zoo. The whole point of Aggro is that it generally has good matchups vs midrange but can struggle vs heavy control, notice anything there ? "Highmane easily dealt with", lol, you're just trolling at this point, good day sir.
Lol, dude we're talking specifically midrange Hunter, which historically hasn't been that viable until now. Also, if you can't deal with Highmane, you simply need to get better.
You're clueless, and starting to get on my nerves. Midrange hunter has been viable and #1 legend capable even just before wotog released, the only reason it wasn't "more" viable is because secret pala and zoo kept it in check and simply because many prefered face hunter because it countered both of those decks and was cheaper. Go play a control warrior and deal with highmane "easily" you buffoon, then deal with call of the wild the next turn, then maybe another highmane and another call of the wild.
That's typical substitution of concepts. You just took the worst matchup for SPECIFIC deck and then form up your arguments out of it. You're acting like Freeze Mage who says that Warrior hero power is ridiculous and need to get nerfed.
